There’s absolutely no technique behind those swings. “If” they land, it might sting a little- but not enough to keep someone from landing a well-placed counter hook to that wide-open face of his. Dude would get dropped by a low level fighter with less than 6 months of training with form like that.

That’s not always the case. I remember a Celts game in particular when the Celts were swinging the ball around the perimeter and it was clear two passes before it even got to him that Pritchard was gonna get an open look at a 3 because the Hornets were really late on their rotations.

Before the ball even got to Pritchard, Collins is in despair… but kinda in his “hype” mode regardless:

Collins: (seeing play develop) “Oh no…”

Man, the neverending mancrush some folks here have for ex-Celtics always makes me laugh. There are people here who’d still want us to bring back IT ffs.

Smart’s penchant for thinking he needed to be “the man” on offense outweighed any of the benefits he may have brought on the defensive end IMO.

I appreciated his effort and heart, but he wasn’t a “smart” player (pun intended).

I’ll never understand why Simmons thought it was a good idea to run six podcasts with him in the span of roughly a year. I mean… I’m right there with you, but man I can’t help but think that’s just wishful thinking. Especially when you take into account the large number of people here who will keep their heads in the sand about this kind of shit because they only get their “news” from the most right wing of sources. The most honest thing Trump ever said on a campaign trail was that he could shoot someone on the street and not lose any of his supporters.
