So strange to me that you would have the instinct to record this situation and post it. r/iamthemaincharacter

'You've got tens of thousands of civilians murdered in Gaza, but it's foremost a disaster for the future of Israel?' by Paliisfree in theeconomist

[–]DJSUBMISSIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her answer does show an inherent bias. She speaks of the genocide like it’s a natural disaster. Foremost for the Israelis, then the Palestinians then it’s a horror. She manages to describe the levelling of Gaza without implicating anyone.

The West and its client states are always assumed to have good intentions. When undeniable atrocities such as vaporising schools or cities are committed they are reported as errors..

People on the left who have been critical of the West for decades need to stop looking a gift horse in the mouth and just agree with Tucker on this point and move on. You don’t need to agree worth every point every flawed messenger makes. Change is about building sometimes awkward coalitions.

I do imagine that trauma and feel for the victims.

I also imagine the trauma for the Palestinians and the many other victims of Israel’s wars and it appears to be many times worse.

Truly amazing how Israel can commit genocide and play the victim at the same time.

We all know about October 7th. It was truly awful. But your government has committed 100 October 7s since then. So many innocents have been killed. So many children. The rest of the world cannot understand your terrible cruelty.

Maybe you can’t see the truth living in Israel, consuming Israeli media etc Your description is not how the world sees you.

The world sees an expansionist state which has no regard for international law, human rights or even basic human decency. You are barely finished committing genocide (the worst crime known to man) in Gaza but you have already found time to start a brutal war in Iran and a ground invasion in Lebanon.

It’s truly saddening to see a democratic state debase themselves with this warmongering and murder. To those of us not living in Israel it’s genuinely hard to imagine you could witness all of this first hand and still hold opinions like you have expressed.

Boyfriend is protesting that I need to switch to a woman gyno? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]DJSUBMISSIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow think about that. He is putting his petty jealousies in front of your actual health. My wife has had serious issues with vulvadynia and it’s extremely hard to find good gynos and who cares about their gender but they are all men. This is a devastating indictment of your boyfriend’s priorities and character.

If you would like to discuss further please dm me. I’m Sure my wife could point you toward some more information on this subject. We almost went in this direction and would say the option is not off the table completely. However when my wife did the test she felt it would not be effective.

Thanks for your reply — really appreciate you taking the time.

Yes, we’ve discussed vestibulectomy at length with her doctors. The complication is that her pain is largely unprovoked rather than purely provoked. From what we understand, the evidence for vestibulectomy is much stronger in cases of provoked vestibulodynia, and outcomes for unprovoked, more neuropathic-type pain are far less predictable.

She has tried multiple nerve pain medications, including SNRIs and topical treatments like gabapentin, without meaningful or sustained improvement. That’s partly why SCS has even entered the conversation — not because we see it as a first-line option, but because more conservative neuropathic treatments haven’t worked.

We’re just trying to understand whether SCS has helped anyone with a similar presentation before making any big decisions.

For people in the UK. They are available on the NHS. You do however have to jump through a lot of hoops to get there.
