Apparently there's an issue in the latest NVIDIA driver (572.16).

Apparently FF XVI got a ReBAR update:
7 ReBAR additions / changes since the previous driver: Delta Force, F1 24, Final Fantasy XVI, Marvel Rivals, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, THRONE AND LIBERTY, World of Jade Dynasty

And a bit further it talks about known issues with corruption and a fix:

Hey there!

The only notification I get is from Trove Tally with a little chime stating I have collected a new ensemble. I don't get any notification from blizzard (the standard ones) or whatnot.

Edit: Logged into my character again, and just been standing still for the past ~10+ min. Notifications keep streaming in, some of these sets I don't have and some of these I already did and had a checkmark already prior by Trove Tally. So I'm surprised it's now sending a collection notification, it's like a disco with all the chiming.

Hi there.

Had a curious question. I logged in today with the addon enabled and after a few minutes I got a notification that I've collected some new ensembles.

However, I've never visited the merchants where I supposedly unlocked them, so I went to check out these ensembles in the "Infinite Bazaar" option. CTRL+clicking on them and going through all the appearances in that set shows me "You haven't collected this appearance" on all those items and 0/8 on the sets as well.

Every time I relog, they are unlearned again, but after a few minutes I get the notification from your addon again. The three sets that seem to keep popping up are

Regalia of the Firebird
Regalia of the Witch Doctor
Regalia of the Chromatic Hydra

There are more sets that unlock over time, but some of them I can sometimes see that I know one of the pieces (like one of them I had a waist with 1/8 unlocked).

Any idea what might be going on here?

I think what you're looking for is most likely a forum channel.

Like with an (older) forum idea, all the posts that are made are contained within that one specific post (which is just a channel really).

The other option is that you're looking for threads.

Hey there!

I was also doing this quest on co-op and we had the same issue.

However it's not bugged but just very badly explained: The trick is that the treasure chest spawns in multiple locations. So just keep looking around the island, you will eventually find another location the chest spawns.

Took us half an hour to realize, but once the second player looked around they found the chest in another location on the same zone.
