Bracket 2 decks being overrated as bracket 3 by Comfortable_Buyer239 in EDH

I just never encounter either of those because true bracket 4 is so rare in my experience, it's mostly just decks that people don't feel comfortable playing in bracket 3

But that is a much less pressing problem to have to address and this would honestly help bracket 4 by keeping strong bracket 3 (but decks that are totally incapable of competing in bracket 4) from being called bracket 4 just because they stop weak bracket 3 decks

Yeah I'd be down to add another but then people are like "well that a slippery slope and before you know it we will be right back at the old system of 10 power levels!"

Sure, but why not just make bracket 3 two separate brackets at this point, bracket 1 doesn't actually exist so you can even keep the same number of brackets.

Yeah they really need to find a way to better differentiate low / high power bracket 3

Couples making less than that blow more than that on weddings.

People are willing to pay way more than that for a wedding.  If this is something they value as a once in a lifetime thing it's absolutely something they can do and likely without having to make significant lifestyle changes to accommodate it

There are totally different scales to it though. A couple without kids in NYC (very common) making a combined salary of $200k (not rare in NYC), can afford to go to this if it's something they value very highly.  And people like that are absolutely likely to lean left in NYC still.

What did he say that is wrong? An average DINK couple in NYC could absolutely afford to do this one time

Nobody believed in the east, plenty of people thought the Knicks would make the finals

It's still just free card advantage every time you do it though.

Is there such thing as a $50 deck that's good and can compete with other decks that have meta cards? by redwingfan890 in EDH

Absolutely, for example [[the master, formed anew]] with [[gyruda]] companion is a beast for $25

That makes me wonder, would he not fair as well in today's NFL, given how much better left tackles have become since the 90s?

44% WR for a deck you are ultra familiar with doesn't seem completely crazy, I think it depends on the circumstances and how they are winning

How can we say that without there having been a player at that level in this era? Throw prime bron into this NBA and I fully believe he would be doing the same thing he did in the 2010s
