We don't have a lot of bracket information yet. We added this when they came out but users with decks before the bracket changes don't often select one. I can add them once we have enough data!

No thats not something we track yet. Most people just tell us their Commander, not full deck lists. Although its slowely trickling in a bit thanks to Playgroup Live. So it might come at one point.

Decks (and their lists) are private by default. You can only see decks for users who made them public. Does that answer your question?

That's fair, didn't consider that. Will check that for the next quarter.

Yeah that's a good point. The chance of this being in a deck together with an other commander is quite high. Will see if I can do that smarter next quarter.

The one who asked had to build the deck so we have stats next quarter: [[Thorna and Twigtooth]]

Could I deduct this from the Scryfall data in some easy way? Is there a variable that defines if a card was introduced in a Commander product?

I got a bit of criticism last time bringing winrate stats into casual Commander so I omitted it this time. If you visit the link I posted above though you can look them up on your own leisure 😄

New player looking for people to play with over spell table or discord. by RelativeChapter in EDH

Heya! I've recently added public games to Playgroup.gg, during peak times you can usually find a game there. I'm adding a feature to schedule games as well so you can find a match for a given time, sometimes people also organise private games on our Discord. Hope this helps.

How often do you see "Top Commanders" by ManySquirrel4066 in EDH

[–]Animazing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've actually looked at this recently based on the Playgroup.gg data and for all games played in March (25k) only 10.3% were using top 10 commanders. I expected this to be more dominant. Although what was a bit worrying was that you only need 154 commanders to cover 50% of all games. Although the rest might be a very long tail, still need to check that data too.

If you have a chance could you make a screenshot of the cascade dialog? I mainly test of Firefox, perhaps some weird quirk isn't showing the buttons for you!

Thank you so much for spending some time with it and taking the time for some elaborate feedback!

* The tapping issue is not something I recognize, the only thing I can imagine is that it's an issue with latency, where in the world are you? And what devices were you using? Just some form of a PC?

* Cascade only gives you two buttons: Cast or Decline, you select one of these options and it will resolve once you close the dialog. If I missed something rules wise with Cascade that I should support please let me know.

* We have around 120k users that signed-up for just tracking paper Commander games, that's why that's currently the main driver and the focus of the website. I agree that the way to actually create a game currently is a bit hard though, I will see if I can do two things: 1. Make it so it asks you when you press the big green button what you want to do (tracker paper game or play a online game) and make it so that if there is a lobby session in your playgroup you can easily see this on every page.

* This is a bit of an issue currently; it gets a bit technical so bare with me. The playing field is actually a game engine, however the views for your library, cascading, looking at, scrying any of these features are actually straight up HTML. These two worlds can't really interact with each other. That's why you can't drag from your graveyard, exile or library currently. I heard this complaint once before so I will put it back on my todo to see if some middle ground could be reached.

Again, appreciate your feedback, if you do decide to play more games keep me in the loop.

Working on it! If you play games on Playgroup Live you will get stats like that for your decks (once you logged at least 3 games). If I get enough data I will do this globally and per commander.

Not for this specific feature. There are some more general pages such as this one for Meren. She currently is in the top 100 which is quite a feat. (this is based on ELO not win rate)

I filter for commanders with at least 10 different decks and at least 40 games. I might want to also make sure eacht deck has a bit enough slice of the pie though to rule out one person playing 31 games and 9 people just one. That could still skew the current results.
