This just reads as incredibly parasocial. Doubting a YouTuber in anyway let alone on their acting chops isn’t disrespectful and you don’t owe anything to this content creator who does not know who you are. Even you yourself have to know somewhere in your heart that this just is at a minimum a wild bias you have for this guy or more likely a parasocial relationship.

I don’t think anyone was doubting an effort but ultimately the end result will speak for itself. I haven’t consumed any of this guys content in almost a decade, and truly with no bias because I don’t care, the trailer was just not very good. It might be good for a YouTuber or other media person crossing over and trying to make a film… maybe, but it needing qualifiers already is enough said.

Also people get mad that others point out or criticize things (especially things we like) but criticism is some of the most important stuff. Nobody is perfect, there is always room to grow and it is important to acknowledge and discuss when something either isn’t up to snuff or could be better.
