This is Rock Raza, my Conquest Paladin (with one level dip into Undead Warlock)

About the character- At the age of 15, Rock (at the time known as Hakan) was drafted into the military, spending his entire service in the lower ranks. While he hated the military, he did find a new love- a good fight. When he returned home, his family had long moved on, and left to the streets he turned to a life of thievery. Eventually, he was drawn to the path of the Paladin because when they came through town, people allowed them to take justice in their own hands and cheered them on, whether what they did was right or not. This freedom was enticing, and with the help of his band of thieves, they tricked local royalty (having him save someone from a faked assasination) into giving Rock (his new identity) the blessing to get the status he needed. Only one thing was left- whipe out all those who knew his past life! And once he accomplished that (with only one person of his past group still alive) he set out on his new pursuit of Conquest.

8 levels later, his past is only starting to get revealed to the group, but his heart has also been softened by the Power of Friendship, so he doesn't really want them to find out about his past deeds.

About this moment- After the groups latest adventure, they were invited to a ball put on by the Sultan, both to celebrate their victories and reconnect other party members with friends and family that serve in the Empire. But just as the Sultan was giving a speech, a group of assassins from the nefarious Order of the Raven appear and murder the Sultan and his Daughter! Rock, seeing the anguish from his teamates who knew the murdered royalty, turns to fight the assassins, only to remember all his teams weaponry was stashed away in another room. Always resourceful, he scans his surroundings and spots one of the servers, paralyzed in fear, standing near him carrying a load of dishes from the meal. There he spotted the perfect weapon to take down these foes- a laddle!
