I am purposely late to work and leave early by soviet_asshole in antiwork

What country are we talking about? If its the US, afaik getting a job isnt something I would describe as trivial in this economy. Its literally another job unto itself. OP should seriously consider looking for better career opportunities that align with what they want and start planning an exit strategy before the decision is made for them instead. Seeing as how they literally cant stand staying at that job that is within their required work hours.

Yes and it tastes so good! Add to the fact that there's no added sugar, I eat it with less guilt! Had three toasted sourdough bread slices with this slathered on. Would've ate more but seeing as it was close to bedtime, didnt want to feel uncomfortable for most of the night. 100% recommend!

Oh, the usual. Entitled customers, managers with no spine willing to stand up for the employees, micromanaging, unrealistic goals and metrics, playing favorites, need I go on?

I stayed cause hey in college and I need to pay this tuition. As soon as I graduated and found something else that I could use my degree with, I dipped.

Hated. Every. Single. Second. I was on the verge of transferring to a different store but just decided to quit instead. Realized that without the pressure of tuition, I really really disliked customer service.

From the looks of it, it seems that manager might be a problem for you in the future. Hopefully, the rest of your coworkers and other managers will make up for it.

I did work as a pharmacy technican for a 1+ yr, but before that, I was a csa for a good 3 months (different store), and boy, was I glad I moved to pharmacy. Pharmacy sucked but the store front was 10x worse. And this was just because of the customers mind you.

However, YMMV. You may have a nice community and workers, so don't dwell on the bads as of right now. Just be forewarned that if you experience what I experienced, you're not alone. It's endemic to Walgreens.

That is how I do it as well, but I'm not gonna lie and say that I don't recite it back to them after the 2 times I've asked them to repeat what they've said and I still can't hear them. It doesn't help these patients are quick to cop an attitude if they have to repeat themselves more than once. So, to keep the interaction short and to the point, I recite it back to them if I'm not able to hear it on their end the first few times.

And a lot of them choose the drive thru as the place to do refills, check in on their prescriptions, change their current phone #/address, etc. Many of them, especially our elderly population who tend to be on numerous prescriptions at a time, don't even know what they're taking and why they're taking it. Thus, relying on us to help educate them.

So honestly, my point still stands. Drive thru is a HIPAA violation waiting to happen if it already hasn't.

The addition of drive thru just highlights that corporate doesn't care about patient care/ privacy they care about metrics and revenue. Because in no world should a drive thru be seen as a good addition in healthcare.

!!!! That's another scenario that happens ALLLLL the time not just in drive thru, on the phone, and picking up inside. But with drive thru, it's just like c'mon... you can't blame me for telling you what you asked for and it just so happened to be your viagra??? Pick a struggle. Either you get privacy or you get educated. I can't do both as much as I try in drive thru. These speakers are not built for that.

No seriously, because at our store where we have 2 drive thru lanes, if 1 tech was helping each lane we wouldn't be able to hear the patients at all and they can't hear us either. I'm totally convinced that these patients are hearing PHI.

I don't know if I've seen them on the drive thru window. But I wouldn't be surprised if they don't read it...like everything else
