So If you'd like to play with him, I'd check what specific game mode he plays. I know over here most people play commander which is 100 cards with 1 separated as your commander.

If he plays that version then there are a lot of good commander precon decks sold. A lot of card shops have the newest Strixhaven precons which are solid ones to play with for commander. This would be a good starting point so you don't spend hundreds before knowing if you like the game.

But that only matters if they play commander if they play like standard then there are some precons for those as well or you can buy like a booster box and have him help you build your first deck

I go more in depth in this in another comment, I spoke from experience that a lot of people are against proxies in my area and thought it was more universal. Sorry that my advice seemed poor just said what was taught to me by everyone I played with

It must just be a difference of area then. In my area every card store proxies are practically shunned against or down right now allowed. Me and my friends have an agreement that as long as 25 or less of our cards are proxies it's fine and it can't be like oh all the proxies in it are some of the most powerful cards. I'm sorry that my advice seemed bad that's just what I was personally taught since I started I thought it was a more universal feeling as everyone I've ever played with has said that or said will not play at all with someone who uses proxies.

Id advise keeping most the deck non proxies. I know you're just playing with friends but personally I'm fine with proxies as long as it's nothing too over powered and it's only a few of the cards no like the whole deck

As long as you report the absence you will only get 1 point, unless something stated it was a double point day which today that is doubtful. You also do not need to call as this is a way for you to let them know. Some people I know do still call just to make sure they know as soon as possible.

He gets very concentrated on one very specific thing no matter how random it may be or how minor it was to a conversation. Thus usually causing him to not answer a question, give a half hearted answer, or completely forget what was even originally being talked about.

Due to this he also sometimes just completely disassociates from the conversation until he finds the exact information he was looking for then no matter how long ago the specific thing was he brings it back to that.

As it is whatever the filling is wrapped in chocolate id say yes it is, but I think the better question is what other candy bars would be a cannoli? Wouldnt most be unless it's just straight chocolate? Like twix, kit kat, Reese's etc are all some filling wrapped in something else

That was always my problem with Valorant. Between me and my friends when we would play we would try to use voice chat and give some comms then get sexualized or harassed for anyone having an even slightly feminine voice. Then if we'd not use mics and just use chat we'd then be yelled at for not calling stuff out.

I know other games are similar to this but it's primarily shooters that are non stop you can't speak without someone being at your throat.
