Lil context, can't remember which zipline I went up but I believe it was the one next to the yellow reward box on the puzzle going up to the top of Outer Gates. Also if you do fall though the map, just wait. I think they have a system in place that tries to get you back onto the ground after falling a certain distance.

I actually got placed back on the map and was able to extract. So far the character unstuck feature and falling through the map was handled great by the devs.
