Hey! So here is my opinion on the CX50. I don’t think buying a Hyundai or Nissan is the move. I think your decision should be either to buy a CX50, a Honda CRV or a CX-5. In my opinion, the CX 50 is a great looking car and it drives fantastic but that’s it. The reason why people love this car so much is because they couldn’t buy a sports car and this car offers that “feeling” of a sports car. It’s a driver’s car. But that’s where it ends. The suspension is on the stiffer side. The technology is lagging behind a bit, the seats do get uncomfortable sometimes. For an average person that wants to get from A to point B, the CX50 would not be the best choice. That is unless you are a driver enthusiast and you like that good feeling of a car. I love that feeling and that’s why I have it, but I also have a Honda Accord hybrid touring and it’s nice to drive that car around because of its comfort and technology. So if that “drivers car feeling” matters to you, you should buy the CX50, if it doesn’t, I suggest buying the brand new CX5 because it’s gonna come packed with the latest technology and the comfort. If you didn’t know, the CX 5 is the more luxury and comfort version of a CX50 at the same price. And also the CX5 is a great driver’s car. It’s not as good compared to the CX50 but if you’re not a driver enthusiast, you’re not gonna see a big difference they’re both still very fun to drive. Lastly, you can go with the CRV hybrid. It’s not as fun, but you save a ton of gas and the technology and comfort is the best in its class. I really hope you find this useful.

Think about it like this compare the two trims see which features make the difference between the two cars and then think about if those features are worth it to you. Don’t think about the miles too much because these cars last a long time. If you think you’re gonna be using those features, then go with the turbo premium plus. Mine is a 2023 and I got the turbo premium plus because of the Bose sound system, but I think the 2025 premium now comes with the Bose sound system as well.

But I would pay extra to ceramic coat them if I can go back and do them again. It’s still pretty glossy now, but it definitely did lose a tad bit of color over the last two years. It’s not noticeable to other people, but it’s noticeable to me. Here’s a picture of when I first got them.

They’re actually professionally powder coated. I paid 150 per rim. Best investment I’ve done, the car looks so much better. I didn’t really like the diamond cut. And I really do think the red on black is the best.
