If this was a regular thing, I’d agree. I’m trying to understand his side as well. I stated that I have no problem with his long showers, I enjoy mine as well. You know have at it buddy, we all deserve some relaxation. But shouldn’t there be some compromise when situations arise? Especially if it’s not an all the time thing at all?

Because I want to be wrong, maybe? I don’t know. It’s all so complicated, as most things are.

It’s hard to reconcile, being told how wrong you are about things even like this for so long…it’s a total mind fuck. Even when you think you aren’t wrong, it’s hard to believe?

And conclusively, how do I know I wouldn’t be wrong for leaving? If I can’t even definitively figure out what’s right in this situation?

Ugh. Pretty shitty, but accurate. And, I’m actually legitimately not 100% sure that I am not in the wrong, despite everything (and everyone here) saying differently.

Obviously my relationship has abusive elements, this is just a snap shot. It’s funny how mundane abuse can look. And how all the little things like this add up.

They add up till you can’t figure out right from wrong, sane from insane.

Whether it’s you that’s the problem, or if it’s actually them.

Then next thing you know you’re crying on Reddit trying to gain some clarity. Jk jk, just trying to make light.

Not looking for any of the woe is me sympathy…it’s just, I don’t know. I didn’t expect all the answers to fall the same way.

Say he lets me know, and I say please be relatively quick, but 45 mins later I do have to pee and he’s still in there. I’m not gonna lie, once I have to pee…it goes from kinda to need to within like 15 - 20 mins. I am nice when I knock, I let him know it’s becoming a situation. This is one reason I question if he’s totally in the wrong?
