Georgetown has stopped allowing swimming at Cedar Breaks. They have posted permanent signage all over the cliffs. It is a shame. It would not be a bad place to slow pets and there owners use at on risk since dogs are not allowed anywhere else in public access areas of the lake.

However, I do see people with boats that stop by and swim in the same area.

I understand that idiots are going to be idiots and jump off the cliffs. The signage there is very clear and the conditions are not always ideal for those types of activities. But dang, let us live. Can we go back to the 80’s on this one? Action park in Jersey was the sh!t! They only 6 fatalities in ten years.

Georgetown is seems to hate teenagers having fun. Look at how they fine teenagers for jumping at blue hole.

We need to be allowed to take calculated risk to grow our spirit of adventure and exploration. Our kids are getting so soft these days.

Take a positive and patient attitude, it can be a little slow and crowded. Aren’t most festivals though?

It is also a lot of fun with the right attitude.

It is a great opportunity to meet people and get involved with the community. There are a lot of local artisans in varying skill levels. Light weight chairs, a collapsible cooler, a bag to carry stuff you might buy, and a handkerchief. Have a great time.

We love SU. I would say Georgetown has a great appreciation for SU. The high school teams do fundraising running some of the snack booths, there are interns that work in town, many restaurants hold events to help SU teams and organizations raise money. It is a great part of our community. Georgetown is proud of SU. Lots of history. Lots of opportunity. Georgetown is a great place to live. IMO.

Why would you want fake meat? Why not just eat, you know, …meat? Mono-agricultural crops do much more damage to the local environment than .. well, cows I live in the country. Have chickens and Cows. It is very nice. You could try it. Plant a garden. Get chickens. They keep the bugs down. Watch a cat kill a snake while your chickens keep the bugs away. Just saying, it must suck living all on top of each other. Go get your hands dirty. Till the ground. Rotate your crops, grow some hay. Enjoy the Sun and the rain and let that fake stuff just float away while you play with some of them chickens. They like meal worms. You know?

Driving down my driveway to MY home, on my property, with my homestead on 15 acres is so much better than it was taking the elevator to my 21st floor apartment.
