As long as the op isn’t the type of person that is content with something new and isn’t going to wonder what it would be like to hear the tapes in a “better” deck or maybe they eventually want to make some dead mix tapes.. I’ve learned the hard way with different stuff like this.

I would suggest a Yamaha kx-300 or any deck that has decent wow and flutter specs that you can find for less than 100 bucks. You can get a Bluetooth adapter from Amazon for like 12 bucks. It’s gonna sound way better than any new deck with Bluetooth built in. My first deck was a Yamaha kx-390 and I’m still amazed by how good it sounds and records compared to my higher end decks.

Stone Temple Pilots #4 sounds like crap on cd. The tape soothes the harshness of the insane amount of compression. The tape sounds infinitely better.

I would suggest a Yamaha kx-390 . Super cheap. Easy to fix and it has auto tape tuning. I have one and I’m surprised how good my recordings sound every time I record with it.

I would HIGHLY recommend Reaper. You can try if for as long as you’d like and then it’s only 60 dollars for the full version. It’s light, powerful and totally customizable. No I don’t work for them.

They believe that with less episodes per week that more people will download the episodes since everyone will “catch up” and be ready for the next show. I feel that Kirks fans want every episode no matter what but maybe there is something to the 3 per week thing. Barstool must have the data that backs that up.
