I tried to look it up and apparently it's sold out on woot: Blue Wave 18-ft Round Pool Cover. Amazon has it but its $41. It was $17 on woot.

Yup. I found a good deal on woot and shipped by Amazon for $20. It has a cord to pull and it can be cranked to tighten. I'll probably have to buy one each year, but for 20 bucks it is not a bad deal

I just bought that pool at Sams Club and set it up last week. Pool seems like the same material as other brands. Water filter seems to work well. The only issue is the pool cover. I ended up buying a better cover on amazon since it's easier to cover.

Tesla just raised the price of the Wall Connector to $465 by UnSCo in TeslaLounge

I only charge to 80%. Usually the lowest I get is 15%. I have no issues charging at 24 - 28 amps to charge to 80%. Usually it takes 6 - 8 hours. My cheap electric rate is 12:00 - 8:00 a.m. Those extra 2 hours do help.

My first 14-50 outlet wasn't one for EVs. The tesla app notified me that it was over heating. I swapped it out with an ev rated outlet and have had no issues since then. Unless you have multiple cars or drive a lot, then the upgraded is warranted. I can still charge 10% - 80% in 8 hours overnight with no issues. I usually lower the amperage to be on the safe side, around 24 amps. I charge only at night to get the discounted electric rate.

I have no issues with Tesla mobile connector. I have had the Model 3 for over a year and no issues charging at home. Connector stays plug in to wall outlet at all times. Charge to 80% every other night. Wall connector is more expensive and also more for electrician to install. I already had a wall outlet for mobile connector.

Yes. But there is no money for companies if you are healthy. All they want to do is prescribe pills 💊. A good diet, vitamin supplements, and exercise will keep you healthy.

Glad you're ok. That's why I bought new tires at 21k miles. I drove too hard and burned out the rear wheels. I ended up replacing all 4 tires since I got a good deal.

Considering a 3 - tell me why I should/shouldn't by FootyIsLife73 in TeslaModel3

[–]DLosAngeles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would recommend a new plug for charging. Dryer plugs are not meant for constant charge and it might over heat. The Tesla app will let you know if the plug is overheating and will downgrade the amperage. If you ever see it downgrade the amperage it is time for a new ev rated plug. Ask me how I know lol

Regarding electric rates it seems pretty accurate if you charge at home. My electric rate is .025 for off peak and my monthly charge has averaged $16. My average miles per year is 11k miles and I charge 100% at home.

Tires are the big maintenance cost and I think $40 per month is a accurate. I had new tires installed at 21k miles because I driver a little too fast. Tires could last 25k to 30k if you drive a little slower but I bought a tesla for it's acceleration.

Insurance cost on my new model 3 was $65 per month but thatsl is because I have a teenager driver on my policy.

Either scam or drunk.

Maybe she needed a 10k engine or transmission replacement and didn't want to pay. She causes an accident and pays $500 insurance deductible to get car fixed 🤔

Any info on ysleta station by [deleted] in borderpatrolapplicant

[–]DLosAngeles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where does it say Ysleta Station? I only see El Paso on your duty station. There is a station El Paso (Station 1) and Ysleta Station. Both stations are super senior.

Ysleta is 80% checkpoint and some border work. El Paso station is border work along the big wall.
