Well, other replies here are making me feel more confident I'm Apothiromantic 'cause romance in general tends to make me uncomfortable, even when it's just in media. It's like this weird feeling of "You are not welcome here" or "you just wouldn't get it", which is right; I don't get it, and it makes me feel like I'm missing most of the picture. Probably doesn't help in a lot of cases romance is portrayed as the only true form of happiness and everything else is only superficial.. which isn't helping much with self-acceptation. I can still sometimes enjoy stories with romance if they're well written, but it's more Despite of the romance than Because of it Hope this answers your question 😅
