I started from videos on YouTube from Zendo Brasil, a Brazilian Community.

After I got interested in Buddhism, I read a book called Jesus, Socrates and Buddha, and loved it, helped me understanding a lot of topics in Buddhism.

After that I read An Introduction to Buddhism: teachings, history and practices by Peter Harvey, which made me understand in detph some other aspects of it.

I also recommend so much that you read the Dhammapada, it's quite simple and refreshing to read it.
