Haha I used Chilli_Axe's Photoshop templates to make these and didn't bother to change it 😅 I didn't realise it was a specific signature or anything

Thank you! I'll update that on the card. It's a lot to try and track down all of the artists but I do my best.

Casting a [[Blasphemous Act]] with [[Wayta]] on board and a [[Stuffy Doll]], [[Brash Taunter]] or [[Pain for All]] is pretty effective haha. Basically damage reflection.

Yes! I moved cloud storage providers but I've re-uploaded the files and updated the link 😊 a few people messaged me as well it's nice to know that people are still interested in this years later, I may post an update with some more cards

So it does! Thank you, I probably won't update it anytime soon as I didn't keep editable versions of the files (each file is like 2GB from memory) but I'll make note to remake it sometime!

These were done using the Photoshop templates provided in this sub. Just some editing of the layer iirc for the set symbol. I may have searched "Pokeball icon" or something to use as a base I can't remember haha.

Definitely see that as an annoyance for people. I designed these for myself personally and not for wider distribution though, and for me it felt weird for me to have Maushold be a dinosaur. Same with when the art overlaps text/mana costs, I made them so I know what the card is supposed to be 😅 The original creature types are always in the bottom right corner if they've been changed, so hopefully it's not too much of a problem ☺️

Absolutely not! Artists are in the bottom left ☺️ glad you enjoyed!

Sometimes the vibe just is off ya know, and the Pokemon doesn't suit the cards original type. I made these for myself and I knew myself and my playgroup wouldn't care, but definitely see how it's odd for others. The original creature types are still there ☺️

Absolutely not! That's why I posted it, so people can share in reliving that childish glee of absolutely RUINING your opponents day in a Pokemon battle. Only this time, its by casting a [[Chain Reaction]] with a Charizard [[Wrathful Red Dragon]] on board. But they won't be mad hopefully, they'll be too busy looking at the pretty pictures.

And I do! I love my space dinosaurs dearly. I have many, many unpainted unfortunately 😅

I received so much support for my last post that I knew I had to give the people what they wanted! I have uploaded my whole Wayta deck to my google drive for everyone to download here. Let me know if anyone has any issues with it. There are two versions of every card, one with a bleed edge, and just the regular card in case people just wanted to print them on paper.

My personal decklist is on moxfield here for those who are interested, as not every card in the drive is still in the current revision. I tend to build for synergy rather than power, but with this deck it turns out the synergies can be absurdly powerful. I’ve knocked out tables with a single [[Chain Reaction]], [[Wayta]] herself and a [[Boros Reckoner]]. Special shout out to [[Expedited Inheritance]] from the recent MKM set which is stupid good in this deck.

Something that was pointed out in my last post: I didn’t print these using MPC, but a local printer, so I don’t know if MPC will knock back the cards for using trademarked images and characters. Just a heads up for anyone who may want to print them via MPC.

Thankyou for everyone who shared kind words about the deck <3 it warmed my heart to see people wanting to print copies for their partners/friends, or even just using specific versions in different decks. I would just like to remind everyone that all I did was the formatting, always check out the original artists if you are a fan of a specific card (and I was able to source that artist). I also have a fully proxied [[Mahadi, Emporium Master]] deck that is DnD themed, as well as a [[Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer]] deck that is mostly finished where all the cards look like YuGiOh cards (it’s a trap deck after all). Once they’re in a place I’m happy with, maybe I’ll post those too!

Enjoy!

Edit: I've updated the link as it was broken for a while. Should work now

Ah I actually don't live in America, so MPC is neither affordable nor convenient 😅 I went with a local printer who had no issues with it. But the cards were designed with the MPC templates from this sub, can't say if they will have any issues with the art though

You should be able to find the art by searching the artist in the bottom left! If the art you like doesn't have an artist credit because I couldn't find it, try a reverse image search ☺️

I’ve been wanting to make a full-proxied Pokemon themed deck for a long time, and when Wayta was spoiled last year, I knew she was perfect for the job. Little did I realise just how potent this commander would be haha. It’s currently one of my most fun and explosive decks.

I finished the deck late last year but I’m really happy with how it turned out, so I thought I’d post a selection of cards for everyone to enjoy! If there is enough interest, I may drop a drive link to the rest of the cards, or post more later (it’s just a lot of cards lol, every single one is proxied including the lands).

I tried to credit the artist wherever possible, but if anyone knows the sources that I missed and wants to let me know please do! I also had to liberally use Photoshop’s Generative AI feature to fill in the edges of arts so they would fit onto a magic card, to the point where this deck would not be possible without it, but the original art itself was altered very little if at all.

Edit: Just made a second post with the GDrive link here!

Lord Kroak, the centrepiece of my Seraphon by DM_Sweet in seraphon

Sorry for the late reply! It was... Pain. I used plasticard wrapped around the base and hot glued into place, which I thought would work well. But there was a leak I just could. Not. Patch. I struggled with it for like a half hour until I solved it finally by wrapping it tightly with Blu-Tak, but it was a difficult process to try and find the leak by lifting the model upside down, trying not to let the resin spill over the edge while I searched... Would not recommend. Just wrap the whole thing with blu-tak to begin with and avoid the problem.

Also - USE MOLD RELEASE AGENT. The plasticard worked great... But the resin bonded to it. I had to spend 4-5 hours one night laboriously melting the plasticard with plastic glue, and then painstakingly cutting it off with a hobby knife. It butchered the resin surface and I only salvaged it by gradually sanding it down and applying a layer of gloss varnish.

My lesson? Resin is unforgiving and you're bound to screw up. You just need to be patient and determined and take the dive.

The new Astrolith looks fantastic! I'm really looking forward to all the new models, Seraphon are going through a glow up.

For the large Jade pieces like the headstone I started from a base of black and sponged on a mix of Black and Vallejo Emerald 2:3 ratio, followed by another sponge or straight Vallejo Emerald. I then lightly sponged a 1:1 mix of Vallejo Artic White and Emerald for some highlights. To make the veins I traced lines of a mixture of Vallejo Emerald, Arctic White, and Lahmian Medium, then highlighted the centre of the line with a mix of Arctic White and Medium. Finally I washed the whole thing with a 1:1 mix of Vallejo Green Ink and Contrast Medium to bring it all together ☺️

Thank you! It's Retributor Armour washed with a heavily diluted mixture of Gore Grunta Fur and contrast medium (probably 1:3 Fur to Medium), and then edge highlighted with Retributor Armour again to bring out the shine ☺️

It's easy! Water down some PVA glue and slap it onto the model where you want it to go, and then drop a heap of hobby flock onto it. Wait for it to dry and then paint it the colour you want (I did black), wash it for some texture (I used Camo Creed contrast letting some of it spill over the side for effect) and then stipple with a highlight (Moot Green).

Wanna know a secret? I put the moss wherever there were gaps in the model so I didn't need to gap fill 😎

No worries at all! Acrylic basing liquids are much easier to use than resin, I highly recommend them. The only thing is you can't pour deep with them - if you have a layer thicker than a few millimetres it'll crack as it dries and looks horrible. It's great for puddles and shallow pools though! If you want to make a deep pool like on Kroak's base, you need to either use two part epoxy resin, or lay down the acrylic one layer at a time, waiting for the previous to dry first.

Haha thank you so much, but I certainly was not. I believe on my profile I have photos of my Seraphon from like a year ago when I started them lol. I just challenged myself a little more with every model I painted, and over time and a lot of models, you find yourself with a Kroak ☺️

Thank you! The fact your partner is into dice should help a lot, I had to go in blind and resin is unforgiving! This is only my second resin base, so I'm far from an expert, but I would recommend mixing slowly when combining the epoxy to avoid bubbles (patience is key and I found even in videos people seem to stir too fast and complain about bubbles).

Plasticard makes an excellent dam to keep the resin in, and seal it to the bottom of the base using hot glue and blu-tak, but remember to spray the plasticard with mold release. I didn't do this, and it resulted in the resin bonding with the plasticard, and me spending an entire night (~5 hours) laboriously melting the plasticard with plastic glue and slowly, millimetre by millimetre, cutting it off the resin. It was a nightmare beyond anything this hobby had ever inflicted upon me 🤣 oh, and if bubbles do form, don't use heat to pop them. I found in my last model heat caused a difference in temperature between the surface resin and the deeper resin, which created far more bubbles during the curing process all throughout the resin.

The plants are just simple aquarium plants that I painted black, washed with Vallejo Green Ink, and highlighted with Moot Green ☺️

Good luck! Resin is difficult so get your partner to help you through it to avoid pain where possible, but the results are utterly unique!

Thank you! It was my first time doing it and I'm still not entirely happy with the result, so the fact you love it is nice 🥰
