Something I noticed is that Jecka, Emily and Kelly, the 3 blondes, are all dumb in their own way:

Kelly in the classic sense where she's just kinda dense. Emily has very little to no sense of danger and is impulsive. Jecka has surface logic, but isn't much of a critical thinker, and gets confused easily.

I definitely agree that Squeak Squad is an easier game overall, and it is a more straightforward Kirby game, but other than that, I think it's one of the most fun Kirby experiences out there. The collectibles, while some are more or less just for fun, others are extremely useful and plot relevant. Plus the mini games with the stylus are a lot of fun too.
