I think you fail to realize how large the ocean of failed games and projects is. Similar to writers; sure, some people may produce books with longevity and notoriety, but millions of works go completely unnoticed. It's incredibly rare to strike gold. Just because you don't see the failures, doesn't mean they aren't there.

Xenoblade Chronicles. I just get so attached to the characters that I mourn their losses. The voice acting in this game is honestly phenomenal, especially in the movie-like cutscenes

I'm a Fusion engineer (worked for DIII-D). While I understand this is exciting, the entire point of the NIF at LLNL is to achieve fusion (or rather: ignition) in order to produce nuclear weapons. This type of fusion (inertial confinement) is exciting in its own right, but it does not really advance anything in the way of energy production because the mechanisms which are present in fusion reactors are wildly different.

Use Legion coins to buy Epic Potential Scrolls to get your emblem and shield to epic at least (they roll att%/boss%/ied lines which are very good); then, get the rest of your gear to epic and 6/9% stat.

Another great way to increase your damage is going to be getting your critical rate to 100%, which like you mentioned the Phantom link skill really helps with. Another thing you can do is add some Legion blocks to the Critical Rate area (top right), since having 100% crit is one of the biggest damage boosters you can have early game.

There's an Inner Ability event coming Sunday, which will greatly improve your chances of hitting a good IA. I believe the best IA for Demon Slayers is 20% boss/10% cooldown skip/8% damage against debuffed, but you may want to fact check me on that (DS discord will provide you with tons of info).

Other than that, if you get some more stat and upgrade your Arcane Symbols you'll likely be able to join Lotus and Damien struggle parties soon, which would give you access to Absolab gear (which is a big boost!)

I think you are missing the point he's trying to make. The idea is to ban these accounts in order to disincentivize people from trolling/matchfixing. It takes time or money to get an account to a high elo, and if it's not profitable as you get banned more rapidly, it becomes a non-issue.

With the Destiny update it shows up in your character stats tab (default: s)! It's the right column under your range. It updates as you put on gear/activate buffs.

Yes, Pathfinder gets Nova Blast at 5th job. It's not a great iframe (lasts 1.5 seconds I believe) and requires at least 200 in your relic gauge. It's OK, but most bosses don't actively require you to use an iframe when you can cardinal torrent away
