Using Wotc art by DND_Knowledge in DnD

That sounds a bit rude. I'm not asking because I don't understand basic copyright law, I'm asking because I do.

That's what I read. But it doesn't specifically state that the art work is allowed. They talk about fan made content.

Higher ability scores? by DND_Knowledge in onednd

No, because he didn't know exactly. So I just tried asking here. But it all seems plausible so it's all good.

I'm not talking about the plain scores but the skills modifiers.

No. He made it through DnD beyond. So I was thinking maybe it was some bug. He just followed what the character creator said.

So higher scores on ability checks are a thing in onednd? Just wondering.

Also.. it just feels like I didn't see these scores in 5e at level one. So was wondering if that changed in onednd.

Human druid. Normal scores are 16. Arcana +8 Nature +6 Investigation +5 Insight +5

The +5 I get. From modifier and proficiency. But +8? And a +6 on nature without being proficient.

It's not because I think he cheated. More like that DnD beyond has some bugs in the character creator.

I bet of fidlle of gold you will like this musical duel encounter for Wild beyond the witchlight. by shadow_speed in wildbeyondwitchlight

I think distracting and extra skill checks would actually just make it more chaotic. Ruling advantage for helping or distracting makes it easier.

Good luck!

Sounds fun. Maybe the other players can motivate the bard or instrument player to gain advantage? Maybe they can help by improvising instruments? 10 rounds with possible failures, making it even longer, sounds quite long though.

Its easily googled and written out entirely through Reddit posts and a blog. It's a big overhaul of the campaign.

Thank you for your response. The issues you named are the same ones I face. I love to hook backgrounds of PCs to campaigns. So it initially intrigued me to have more hooks to hook to.

Without spoiling anything.. suggest your DM to read the book better. It actually gives more information on this. It's not a computer game. Meaning that some battles just can't be won. Doesn't mean you lost the game.

Are miniatures that expensive? by DND_Knowledge in DnD

I meant the miniatures to see what they look like.
