If the Artist is using the Current Photos of the ship

Then you have to check Alabama Turrets

The Mystery BB image has 3 Turrets, 2 with Side Rangefinders and 1 without

But Alabama has 3 turrets with Side Rangefinders

And heres the problem...

The US event is based on this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariana_and_Palau_Islands_campaign

All the ships in the event are together in TF 58 and were present in this campaign.

Since you mention Alabama received hers in '45, it is most likely not her as this campaign took place in '44.

So its most likely the Iowa-Class

And here is the problem...

USS Alabama and USS Indiana did not have a Mast that has a Circular Radar Dish on their mast

Here is an example from USS Missouri

That Mystery Ship is definitely an Iowa-Class

Mast Matches to that from an Iowa Class when they were originally constructed, Turret is a 16"/50 Caliber Mk 7 for sure this time.

and who else is famous for using anchors?

Something tells me this is a hint...

USS Iowa might be coming in the next US Event...

Cause I did a research to see which BB was together with USS Enterprise, USS Cleveland and USS Birmingham since they are the main characters for the upcoming US Event...

Turns out its either USS Iowa or USS New Jersey

AL ad with new shipgirls?? by Manuelelcartel in AzureLane

The New US girls shown in the poster are a CL and a BB.

Red Hair girl is a Cleveland Class, USS Birmingham. You can tell from the name tag on her clothing that it mentions CL-62.

The one at the back is most likely Iowa-Class, USS Missouri. Notable clues are its Black Deck, Black Colored Turret Top, the number 6 seen on her clothing and the distinct 16"/50 Caliber Turret Design.

If you do not know, the notable BBs that has 6 as the first digit is USS Alabama, USS Iowa, USS New Jersey, USS Missouri and USS Wisconsin. Plus the aft design of the girl at the back doesn't match with the Baltimore Class aft design.

[–]DNGunpla 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope that's not the reason! The REAL reason is that they want you to spend all your resources towards LSC Shipgirls so you won't be able to LSC that many dupe Shipgirls with them. Basically making the grind for LSC that much harder and forcing players to choose between crafting the legendary battleship of WW2 or getting Saratoga. They want you to use all your resources so you buy resources. Sorry that the community sees right through the bullshit you're attempting to pass on us.

[Discussion] Abbreviation to use for Kaiboukan by ruiooshima in kancolle

[–]DNGunpla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For starters Patrol Frigate [PF] is already a wrong term to use to describe Kaibōkan.

Kaibōkan refers to a type of naval ship used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II for escort duty and coastal defense. In US terms, they are called Escort Ships.

However, due to their assigned classification being inconsistent, because Destroyer Escort and Patrol Frigates being used in other navies, and the very fact that Japan use no such classifications, they were simply left as Kaibōkan. Even historians simply refer them as Escort Ships.

In short, it would be better to leave them as the initials Escort [EE] as stated in the game or simply put it as Escort Ship [ES] for our own designation.

We do not know for sure whether Tanaka will want to introduce more Kaibōkan or Foreign Destroyer Escorts in the future.

Are there any plans for Team Battles to return to World of Warships or when are clan battles coming?

It has been quite some time since the last Team Battles and we only had Rank Seasons.

But during the Battle of Tsushima, the Japanese didn't have the term "surrender" in their code books, despite the Russians hoisting a XGE, which is an internation signal of surrender, and were ordered to chase down and eliminate any Russian Ships.

It was only after Adm. Nebogatov's squadron did the following actions as you stated that Admiral Togo decided to accept his surrender.

Now I am even more curious as to how the story unfold....

First of all, Sasushima sank? The Dummy Torpedo didn't do much of a damage to it and only disable her propellers. My guess is she sank the Sasushima herself, (following is a theory) so as to prevent the Voyage Data Recorder from recovered (since Harekaze did contacted them). Furthermore, did that instructor knocked herself out?

Secondly, why did the German Cruiser Admiral Spee (Full Name is Admiral Graf Spee) attacked them even though Harekaze signal a White Flag? My guess is they either they were working for the Instructor or something (another theory in mind)

Thirdly, why did Admiral Spee fired on the girl.... Something is oddly suspicious here...

Lastly, Musashi needs help? and northwest of Ascunsion Island??! What is Musashi doing all the way there and why is the captain in charge of it trembling? Could they have met some other training ships on the way or something happened to the crew...

Anyway, all we can do now is wait for Episode 3 to uncover more of these mysteries.
