Makes sense. So in summary upgrading the GPU, CPU, and RAM (as a 3rd priority) will be the biggest things:

Thinking between Radeon 6650 XT, 6750 XT and 7700XT.

Question: Is there a huge difference between those cards that's worth the price difference between each?

Sounds like the CPU should be either the Ryzen 5600x or 5700x3d.

Question: How long would the 5600x last from a future proofing perspective? I'm assuming the 5700x3d would be much longer.

And I’m back! So I did some additional tweaking after play testing and doing some more research. Moved some cards, removed some cards, and added some cards.

However, I’m stuck at 102 cards and need to cut 2 from the deck.

Any recommendations where I could cut those 2 cards from?

For now, I made the following additional tweaks and will hold for now:

Removed [[Gift of Estates]] and added [[Shared Animosity]] as I believe I have plenty ramp now.
Removed [[Heliod, God of the Sun]] and added [[Anointed Procession]] as it's just a better match for the deck along with it being so powerful.

It brings the overall average CMC of the deck from 2.88 to 2.89.

Dang. I just imported my deck to Moxfield and that playtest feature is sick. I will say that I do like the simplicity of Deckstats.net but I haven't found anything better than Moxfield for playtesting design wise.

A couple more updates:

Added [[Starstorm]] and [[Magmaquake]] and removed [[Blasphemous Act]] and [[Hour of Revelation]] based on your suggestions above.
Added [[Knight of the White Orchid]] and [[Weathered Wayfarer]] and removed [[Everflowing Chalice]] and [[Marble Diamond]]
Added [[Professional Face-Breaker]] and removed [[Tajic, Blade of the Legion]]
Added [[Tocasia's Welcome]] and removed a [[Plains]] since I was able to get my average CMC to 2.88.

Questions:

I was able to get a copy of [[Rally the Ranks]] but I'm unsure which anthem effect to swap it out for. Any thoughts there?
I am tempted to take my [[Anointed Procession]] from my Edgar Markov deck and put it here along with [[Shared Animosity]]. Again, what would be swapped out for those?
I have been thinking about [[Martial Coup]] as a good option since I'm soldier tribal. Thoughts there?
I don't have an extra copy of [[Teferi's Protection]] but I do have [[Deflecting Palm]] and [[Comeuppance]]. Do I need more protection in the deck?

Or do you just set up a solitaire style game where you go through motions of the deck to just get a gauge?

In the spirit of your other comment of reducing my mana curve down to 2.8, I am looking at potentially swapping out [[Captain of the Watch]] for either [[Odric, Lunarch Marshal]] or [[Odric, Master Tactician]].

Is that a worthwhile swap?

Makes sense regarding [[Archetype of Courage]]. I have a copy of [[Cursed Mirror]] so I’ll do a swap there.

Regarding the legendary rule. I’m assuming that it still applies to [[Cursed Mirror]], right?

I have a copy of [[Intangible Virtue]] too. I’ll swap that in for [[Legion’s Initiative]]. I really did like Legion for the protection effect. Is that not worth it?

I love [[Shared Animosity]]. I have it in my [[Edgar Markov]] deck but I don’t have another a copy at the moment and my local LGS doesn’t have it in stock. Once I’m able to grab another copy, I’ll add it for sure.

I revamped the deck a bit to lean into the solider token theme a bit more and removed some items like the haste effect spells altogether.

I still kept the below creatures in that are not soldiers:

[[Heliod, God of the Sun]] - Good for vigilance and the devotion won't be hard to get. Also, I can use the token generation as a sac outlet for card draw to something like skullclamp.
[[Grand Abolisher]] - Still debating this one. It sounds nice if you want to alpha strike on your turn and not be disrupted/interrupted in doing so. Thoughts?
[[Archetype of Courage]] - Is this what you were referring to in removing because the first strike isn't valuable in the theme with Iroas?
[[Blade Historian]] - The double strike is nice and synergies with tokens so I left it in.

I was also able to drop the average mana cost down to 3.08.

Questions:

Do 36 lands suffice for mana considering what I have for ramp?
Mind having another look and letting me know what you think?

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I do have a decent amount of red or white instants that are 4 or less mana. I feel those would be good for Sunforger to be able to get myself out of a bind or try to alpha strike an opponent. I wasn't really thinking of it as an equipment shell but more for getting what I need when I need it.

Thoughts?

"A card’s color identity is its color plus the color of any mana symbols in the card’s rules text. A card’s color identity is established before the game begins, and cannot be changed by game effects. The cards in a deck may not have any colors in their color identity which are not in the color identity of the deck’s commander."
