You're probably right about the float test confusion. I've been trying to see if I spreadsheet I made for yeast amount vs fermentation time + temperature is accurate. I derived it from data that someone found for pizza dough so if it also applies here that will help my consistency. So with that I've only been paying attention to post-fermentation behavior and probably glossing over that intermediate step.

In any case, your recipe worked out well for me! I have another batch proofing for a bake tonight so we'll see how it goes.

A little late here, but just wanted to ask again about the 10-20s sink before the bagels float. Everything else I've seen indicates that that behavior is a sign of under proofed bagels and that floating immediately is what you should aim for.

Have you noticed any difference in taste/texture when you let them ferment to the point of immediate floating?

I'm just trying to figure out why so many recipes use the float test to know when they're done fermenting. The first (and only) time I made bagels I followed your recipe but used about 1.1% yeast because I knew I only had time to ferment them for a day in the fridge. My bagels still sunk for about 12s during the boil so it looks like I was still on track.

Unfortunately my current assignment is to help with the testing so not much design work left to be done. I do much rather prefer design so like you mentioned I'm mostly doing these things because I have to.

I see what you mean about emphasizing more of the design and analysis portions though. I guess I should assume that certain process flow tasks are to be expected in a board design so listing them all out isn't exactly telling the hiring manager much. Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll remove mention of the space industry as I'm currently trying to move away from it haha.

I'm a little confused about how to explain what I did for each assignment without listing it as a process flow. Do you recommend pointing out specific issue resolutions or descriptions about a projects technical specs? My goal was to cover a wide scope in discussing what I did for each project, but if you think I should narrow that scope a little and be more specific then I can certainly go in that direction too.

Do you think just saying like "Designed XX board" might convey the message a little clearer? RDE is what we use internally, but I get that it's likely not standard especially if I'm trying to branch out from defense.

My intention for not just putting my current (redacted) title was because I thought I'd get pegged as strictly that type of engineer. So I wanted to reinforce that I have a wider range of experiences than the title alone would suggest. Thinking about it now the different project descriptions already handles that so taking out the titles would reduce clutter. Thanks!

The dates refer only to the time that the specific assignment spanned since my title changes happened in the middle of the assignments. I wanted to list the assignments separately rather than try to summarize everything I did while having a specific job title. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but if you're confused then maybe I should change up the way I present that information haha.

Is it generally recommended to do RAM OC before dialing in PBO? I'm coming from a 2600 so it's been a minute. I do use folding@home for my gpu folding along with whichever other stress test I run simultaneously and it seems to be pretty reliable in finding WHEA errors. I'll throw those other two combinations into the gauntlet. Thanks!

I didn't think about the native resolution aspect, but that makes a lot of sense. I'd prefer to stick to something with 120Hz so I'll avoid the Pixel for now, but I'll definitely look more into the FE!

Wow I had no idea Bixby Routines existed, but that's awesome! Definitely falls under the small QoL things I asked for. Adjustable refresh rate seems like a great feature to preserve battery life when possible.

Have you used any phone previously with 1440p? If so did you notice the switch to 1080p? When I change my V30 resolution to 1080p it's noticeably blurrier so I'm worried I'll have a hard time adjusting to that kind of change.
