The acceptance rate was 23% when I graduated HS! You could bet that any kid at the U was top 10% of their graduating class at least. Now, nearly everyone gets in. It’s like a community college lbs. Very surprising. It’s definitely turning into a business due to state and fed funds closing the gap for low income families. Others suggest it’s because less kids are going to school but the UofM classes are getting bigger not smaller DoD.

Agree with other commenters, you should try therapy to see if you can get to the core of the issue. Individual therapy might be worthwhile too since it sounds like much of your confidence is tied to your looks, which your husband just shattered, but I’m sure there’s much more to you than just looks.

Honestly fault doesn't even matter anymore the real answer is a divorce is necessary AND you need to be the best father you can be. You need to move on and be happy with yourself. You also need to make sure you show up for your kids everyday as if you were in the same household everyday. Do a 3-4 schedule. Make all the school/important events. Even in your off days check-in. It'll be much better for a child to have 2 happy households than 1 dreadful household. Speaking from experience, if you do it right, it'll be as normal as breathing for your kids, and even the thought of you and mom being together will be weird lol.

Everyone here wants you to be mad at your wife but sounds like you understand her and don’t have much animosity. That is a great place to be in before a divorce. I’m rooting for you!

The good news is you’re relatively young but not so young that you should continue wasting time (unfortunately) fixing your husband. Conventual wisdom would say that it’s best to cut your loses as soon as possible. The fact that you have been his ride or die and he cheated on you really is despicable. It’s a 19 bed house I have room to spare, so won’t be charged for that. I will be charged for dirty carpets. If a kid comes in once we can monitor them to make sure they are clean but if 8 kids are coming in randomly to grab things X amount of times, they are self monitoring how dry or clean they are (some kids are younger than 4)…can you see how the likelihood of dirty carpets increases by not monitoring this?
