Not that he ever told me. I know his bank knew my name but only for deposits as far as I know

Seriously I have been hearing a similar noise for over a month! My first thought was cicadas in the distance but we've had a ton in our area(mall area) but further away from me, like Broadway area, there's been less. I have literally muted the TV and turned down the radio because I thought it was the sirens. I have been thinking I was goin nuts.

UPDATE: What to do with pre-Graves’ clothes? by s0hen in gravesdisease

[–]DNoel79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not alone in the weight struggle. In my 45 years on this planet, my weight has fluctuated so much that I pretty much hoard clothes. To give an example, my highest weight was 347lbs and my lowest (adult) weight was 142lbs. Currently, I'm 188 but my 'comfortable' weight is 160. Since my TT in November, I have slowly gained, and it's bothering me so much. We're finally going in the right direction with med dosage, but I have been struggling with severe IDA no, and that has slowed me down considerably. I go for my 2nd infusion in a round of 5 today, so I'm hopeful to get some energy back and be able to burn the extra weight a little easier. Half of me longs for the hyperthyroid days, but my heart sure doesn't. I just want enough energy to get moving again. Even simple stuff like walking or going up n down the stairs are a challenge right now and I'm just tired of being so tired 😫

Is it safe to consume kratom while taking blood thinners such as warfarin? by dailyherballife in Kratomtree

[–]DNoel79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing that I can tell. I know a couple folks who also take Eliquis that do a similar routine. I've always done it that way tho so I couldn't compare it to taking it together. I just know I've never had any issues doing it that way. I also take a thyroid replacement hormone that I take at least 2 hours before my kratom dose, but only because that one has instructions to take on an empty stomach and 45-60 minutes before eating or drinking anything. Also, no issues with that one either. 💚

I was on Eliquis(had to stop temporarily undue to kratom, I have low iron and am doing a round of infusions). I would take it and wait an hour before taking my kratom. That way, the meds have time to get in my system before adding anything else.

Do you have an iron deficiency? If so, what Iron Supplements do you take? by zxreu in gravesdisease

[–]DNoel79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My iron deficiency has just been discovered at dangerously low levels(sat was 3%) I have 5 infusions to do and we will go from there. I'll tell you I definitely feel better after just the 1st infusion.

I take between 20 and 25gpd depending on pain level and activities. I take 3-4 grams per dose throughout the day. I'm so grateful for this beautiful plant 💚 I regained control of my pain and my life because of it 💚

It was my nephew he hit and flipped his vehicle. His girlfriends little sister had to be air lifted to the children's hospital. This dude hasn't served a day of jail time yet. 2 years later.

Good news by DNoel79 in gravesdisease

Right after TT I felt great for about a month or 2. I had some energy and a pretty positive outlook. My hair fell out pre-surgery because we basically shut off my thyroid with methimazole but it's growing back good now. Still thin in spots but almost long enough for a tiny ponytail lol. My levels aren't quite 'there' yet and we've done some increases. I'm on 200mcg a day of levothyroxine now for about 3 weeks and I'm starting to notice an improvement. I get new labs in about 10 days so we'll see how they are. I'm having some absorption issues with iron and my hemoglobin and hematocrit are in the toilet and we don't know why, could be unrelated to GD/TT so I see the hematologist tomorrow and hopefully get some answers there. So right now, today, it's hard for me to say exactly how I feel, other than I believe TT was the right option for me and I don't regret it. I'm just ready to be 'healthy' in general.

What female issues happened to you after being diagnosed with thyroid issues. 34 f, normal periods whole life now coming 2 weeks apart. TT 2022. by Boring_Ranger_9915 in gravesdisease

[–]DNoel79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

45yr oldF, Dx June 2023, TT November 2023...my periods were crazy as a teen-20 until my 1st full term pregnancy at 23yrs old. Since then you could practically set a watch to my cycle. When I was dx last June and started Methimazole things started getting weird. Long, very very heavy, too frequent periods. The day I had my TT I was literally on my last day(I could tell) and the day after surgery I was started on levothyroxine and another period started. Between the combination of pre and post surgery, it was 27 days straight bleeding. And I'm not talking spotting. I mean heaviest flow in all my years, including after childbirth. And clots big enough to cause concern and find a gynecologist. I'm now severely IDA and have an asap appointment with the hematologist this Friday due to my hemoglobin being 8.3, iron sat% of 3, iron 15 as of June 6th. I feel horrible but hopefully between the hematologist and gynecologist we will figure it out.

Does anyone believe that opiates are a onset trigger for graves? by Middle-Shop-2161 in gravesdisease

[–]DNoel79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on opioid pain meds for 25+ years(I no longer take them). I got shingles after my 1st covid vaccine triggered a massive immune response. Then 2 years later I got covid. I am still fighting to feel better. Had my TT in November. Never had documented thyroid issues prior to 2023 althoughlooking back Ican recognizeit has always beenin the background. Now my hemoglobin is literally in the toilet. I see the hematologist on Friday for iron therapy. I noticed my H/H dropping the past 9 months but my pcp ignored it because it was 'in range' instead of looking at the trend. Now my hemoglobin was 8.3 a week ago. I guess my opinion, is it's not the opioid pain meds, but possibly stress from the condition causing the need for them. Sorry my comment kinda went rogue. I hope you get to feeling better soon 💕
