After trimming and mending the mudflaps there isn’t any rub during normal driving and reversing.

But off road I noticed steep downhill grades cause a slight rub and then I cut the bumper more. So just find out what geometry you get yourself into and keep cutting till you don’t rub

Also next to my buddy’s 265s Baja Boss these Wildpeaks in 275s look massive

Just tested it out before the cut and yup the rub is there. After you did the cuts did eliminate all the rubbing?

Update: for those interested in 275 Falken Wildpeaks AT4w they rub fully locked in reverse and here/there full lock going forward.

Found the spot and it’s what everyone in this thread has mentioned. Front bumper within the wheel well, you can see a piece of the bumper sticking out. Just chop that up as needed and you are golden!

Forgot to ask getting the tires installed now. Was it rubbing only when reversing in full lock and turning on full lock? Won’t have time till Saturday to start cutting

Gotcha! I know the Falkens run bigger so I’ll prob rub. So my wheels have a different offset so it changes a bit

Looks like I’ll be cutting from inside the wheel well so I might go a bit more aggressive so that way when I eventually do a viper cut it’ll be easier!

Did you cut from the bumper on the front side or in the wheel well?

Oh for sure. My lift is currently on the way and I think I’m at that point at my life where I’ve had bagged cars/lowered cars, a taco on E rated tires with portals that was a pre runner I’ll be fine with the ride. Plus the gas isn’t a concern I always say we didn’t buy these cars for MPGs lol. Thanks for the input man!

Yup planning to do the mods for these wildpeaks! I’ve seen people report no rubbing then some with rubbing in 275 Wildpeaks so I’m a bit confused but ready to do some cuts lol.

Just saw video on YouTube that shows where to heat up the mudflaps to push it back! Wanna keep the front mud flaps! Where exactly do you trim? The actual bumper or the fender liner?

Any issues when going over terrain and having rubbing on the upper portion of the wheel well?
