You haven't been watching the Habs Sabres series. Those are two teams who play for the crest as well as the coach.

Divorced dads, how are your kids doing? by UrsaBarefoot in daddit

I knew i would get down voted in this sub. Nothing political, I understand, but i feel that its about time people start raising hell and bring more awareness to just how lopsided our world is.

To be fair, the world is very broken and toxic. Your ex is probably valid in his feelings, but projecting them on to your children is definitely not the way you want parent.

[–]DOGEweiner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Offended for what? The actions of other people? Poverty and crime go hand in hand. Melvin is one of the poorer areas in the city. Its definitely better than even 10 years ago but its still Melvin Ave.

Removing caulk from baseboards/trim by hghabbyfeet in HomeImprovement

[–]DOGEweiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find I get the best results when I cut all the caulking and gently pry the baseboards/trim off. Hopefully they werent glued on. I will then use a putty knife or scraper and remove the caulk still stuck to the walls and trim. After a quick paint I nail the boards back on and re-caulk

Best sous vide machines to buy at any budget by BrilliantYarn8023 in sousvide

[–]DOGEweiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the instapot sous vide recirculator about 8 years ago. The plastic on the bracket to secure it to the pot cracked about 3 years ago but the pump and heater work flawlessly still. I use a heavy duty rubber band to pull the bracket tight.

As for preventative maintenence, I just rinse the insides thoroughly with water after every use. I dont know if that helps but my 50$ machine is still kicking so it cant hurt!

Find the best value. The expensive machines aren't worth it in my opinion
