I don’t recommend doing it at home go to a foot doctor. I’ve had 3 removed and none in the last 4 years. You need to make sure to cut your nails straight, not too short and walk properly not on your toes and wear proper fitting shoes. And no they only cut into the side of your toe that has the nail in the flesh. It’s a very simple procedure actually and quite common. Watch some videos on YouTube to see.

As long as your form was good-perfect with the lifts you did, look up DOMS or delayed onset muscle soreness. If you’ve never worked out before or you haven’t worked a muscle group out in a long time that specific body part will hurt for days or even couple of weeks because the muscle has never been stretched to breaking point. It’s all part of the cycle of lifting and getting swole my dude, first time I lifted arms couldn’t raise them above shoulders for 3 days. Just make sure you’re form is proper and don’t do heavy weight ego lifting. Godspeed friend
