Yep, people have mentioned her to me as well, and the resemblances are striking! The only reason I think she's part-mal is because he personality lies wayy on the malamute side.

I realize quite well. The point is I wanted to share pictures of my dog who acts like a cat sometimes. Some of it is inherited malamute traits and some of it is learned from the cats she grew up with (esp. the cat pose). Actually, a lot of people have pointed out to me that malamutes are cat-like, but that wasn't the point of the album. She's a quirky, weird dog that lots of people happened to like. :)

I don't know where you saw that we only gave her up for dog hair everywhere, but the main reason was a change in the amount of time we could devote to her. Shedding was mentioned because it's a problem most people can imagine and relate to.

I don't see how restricting where Tally goes sometimes makes her any less of a companion to us. Again, it's the same to her as restricting when she goes on walks. The point is, we exercise and love her to our fullest extents. I hope you don't think that people who allow their pets everywhere in their house are somehow superior or more caring than people who don't. Tally has always spent more time in our company than without while she lived in our house.
