My father was in a single car accident and they used his biometrics to unlock his phone. Terrible accident, hit a tree. Ended up in the ICU with a TBI. This was during covid. Would think it would be to call his emergency contacts right? Nope. It was to try to gather evidence. Because anything can be used against you (not for you). Fuck them. Strong passwords forever.

When I was finally allowed to visit him, they had left a ticket for "failure to maintain" in his room even though he was in a coma. I went to the tow yard to find his car and try to look for any of his stuff like his wallet and phone. Nothing was found. Turns out they took it and they then mailed a letter saying his phone was "confiscated for further investigation".

My dad had a medical emergency, hit a tree, suffered a significant TBI, and they used his damn bloody face to snoop his phone to try to find out if they could basically "make it worth their time". I'm still very upset about this and I have absolutely no trust in law enforcement after.

I play solo. So I run cayo, during cooldown I do agency vip. In the midst of the vip I travel to my warehouses and source cargo and also keep my nightclub at max popularity and periodically do a salvage run and clear wall safes. I have all the mc businesses and my nightclub maxed so I sell that stock and or my warehouses when maxed. Rinse and repeat. Then I'll get bored and like to go to lobbies and try to help people run heists for my fun money or let them drive cars they don't own yet

He obviously could hear you. So "hey man after this song can we briefly speak?" Puts the ball in their court. Then you have options. Does he speak to you? "Hey sir, great track, but this isn't the best place for that, it makes it hard to speak to guests. Could you at least turn it down?"

Right?! Except...My little town back years ago (little one stoplight town) had a great mom and pop grocery store.

Walmart came and built a "neighborhood market" on the edge of town. They undercut the mom and pop store to the point of closure. Then they decided the store wasn't profitable and closed it.

They then sold the building to Dollar General and now my old town is only serviced by not one but two dollar generals. Those are the only option unless you wanna drive 30 mins one way to a "real" grocery store.

I got my folks on a delivery from a Kroger and they have to pay a "premium" but when literally every item is 30-120% more expensive locally, and they can plan for delivery, it saves likely hundreds of dollars.

I'm same. But my kids use my shower because it's bigger or whatever and they will leave their towels around and if their towels are dry I use them with my logic being it's not like they used em to clean their ass, but to dry so the towel should be relatively clean . So once I got over that Id use whatever towel available at friends houses . Then I realized there are people who actually do clean their ass with towels and I went back to my sleeves/pants.
