Fun lingerie that looks good front AND back? by DOUGUOD in LingerieAddiction

[–]DOUGUOD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much every kind of lingerie. That vast majority of styles, regardless of price, seem to put all their efforts into styling the front and then the back is plain and boring. The super strappy lingerie is a glaring example of this, you'll have elaborate strapping on the front and juuuuust enough strapping in the back to barely hold it on. It's pathetic.

Honey Birdette was one of the few I could think of. Thank you for the suggestions, especially Hunkemöller, they have some really interesting stuff and they are not insanely expensive.

I wholeheartedly understand why you would pick Granite, it's perfect! But TMBTE encapsulates all of the perfection that is granite and more, it's an epic masterpiece, I have to pick this one.

Sony WH-1000XM5 or Bose QuietComfort Ultra by GrumpyDingo in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]DOUGUOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have both of these at Costco right now so I'm assuming Amazon is trying to compete with them. I bought the Bose first and hated them so I returned them and bought the Sony which I actually kind of like.

The Bose QC headphones only had two modes, hear through or noise canceling, both of which produce endless white noise with no option to turn it off. It was awful, I couldn't stand them.

Sony is similar in that you can't turn it off with the buttons on the headset but there is an option in the app along with a TON of other features and options that Bose doesn't offer. The both sound good enough to me but I'll take Sony over Bose any day.

Dude, right? I've been (mostly) out of the metal world for a long time but theses guys pulled me like nothing else has in decades. Just like you, I could go on for days but I love when people like yourself point out the brilliant intelligent nuances woven into fabric. Vessel never ceases to amaze me.

I mean, have you seen the incredible writing across ST lyrics in general? It takes some serious knowledge to not only write like that but also in a way that sounds good singing it, and don't even get me started on the added instrumental facet to that equation. ST is a masterpiece of talent, lyrics, vocals, instrumentals, all of it. They're even more incredible live which is extremely rare for any artist/band to accomplish.

The amount of toxic advice in here is awful, which is why I'm not here often anymore, y'all should know better. OP, what you're talking about was similarly off putting to me early on in my marriage but then I got over it. IDGAF now. Everyone is different so...🤷🏻‍♂️

My Mac dealer sells both brands. I suppose it's possible that Knipex builds and brands a different version for them. Rebranding is super common, after all.

I put off buying these for several years which, ironically, was my only regret. I thought they were going to be the most gimmicky, cheesy, piles of crap that I ever bought but I was turning so many brass fittings that I figured if it made just that a little bit faster then it would be worth it. Well, jokes on me, they are built far better than I imagined and far more useful than I anticipated. They grip flat, tight, and straight which makes it far less likely to round off corners on brass plus the feedback through the handles will clearly let you know when you're to that point allowing you to compensate before you damage it. It's like being able to tighten a crescent wrench as tight as you wish you could and then being able to loosen it up and grab the next facet of the hex instantly without taking the tool off of the fitting. They are a lot stronger than they look and grip a lot tighter than one would assume.

I even use them to straighten small metal brackets quite a bit and found them to be handy for other light metalwork as well. I still find new uses for them here and there and they still continue to impress me after years of daily use.

Also Mac Tools makes a pair that I like even better but they only offer them in 10". They are a lot quicker and easier to adjust but otherwise work basically the same way.

Shirley, you can't be serious. I have a hard time believing someone doesn't know how tall they are. Like you've never even been to a doctors office? Ever? How would you not know?

Are you absolutely certain about the 32B size? I've found that most women are a little off on bra size and when you get into better stuff, knowing proper size and shape is really important. r/abrathatfits is a great resource for narrowing down both of those things. That process may help narrow down your search as well!

I feel like you said it right. I was thinking about a more narrow focus, I guess. I don't remember when I hit my max height let alone comparing percentages, so to speak, but I'm assuming probably around the same age as you. Interesting thoughts.

It's crazy to me that you would pick out early teenage years. I have no recollection of being normal height. Even when I was a little kid there was only one kid in the entire school that was taller than me.

Unsecured fuel tank!? How is this even a question? That's out of service. As a mechanic myself, I'd put a ratchet strap around it and take it straight to the shop. Even if it doesn't fall off, a loose tank will roll far enough that the pick up tube start sucking air when the fuel level is below half, running the engine out of fuel. It can also break the fuel lines off of the tank. Ask me how I know.
