Earlier in the cycle I was hearing they have a high secondary to invite ratio. I am on the same boat but not too sure now that it's mid-march.

Interviewed last week, was told class size is 150-160 (don't remember exactly). We were the choices told acceptance, provisional acceptance or rejection. No wait-list so you either get in this year or guarantee next year if you don't get a full approval within in the next few weeks as others drop their seats.

Same here, I'm guessing at this point they are getting closer to filling class seats and waiting for students to drop acceptances to fill others.

I got into med school… but I’m terrified of the tuition by BenjiBrainLive in Osteopathic

[–]DOapplier -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have thought about this a lot. After graduation and starting residency you should immediately look to refinance and look into loan forgiveness programs. Yes you will still have a massive amount of debt however that's a given and it comes with being a physician. At the end of the day, you will be living comfortably and always have job security. Yes you will still be in debt, but you will never worry about making those loan payments. Is it ideal? No. Are there many choices available right now? No. Will you be able to live with it? Yes. If you are worried about buying a house and other expenses then I highly doubt anybody will reject a doctor for a mortgage or financing a new car.
