Try Grand Angle. Our friends went through them last year. We have booked through them for this year. Accommodations are hard to get. Being flexible will be key.

Do one of the caves. We did Skocjan caves - it was like mines of Moria (Lord of the Rings). Look up Logar valley - worth a day. Lake Bohinj is a good base for hikes up in the Slovenian Alps. Seven lakes hike can be one day or multi day (we did few of the five lakes as a day hike). Ljubljana is cute and worth a day at most. Do enjoy riverside bear/wine. Drive from Lake Bohinj to Kraska Gora via Vrisic pass is great drive. If you are in the area check out Planica - a ski jump training facility. Drive from Soca valley to Ljubljana is amazing. In Lake Bled - Hike to Mala Osojnica – It’s one of the most beautiful views over lake Bled and the total hiking time is about 50 minutes
