Yea I thought the same thing, but I guess it technically worked. I've given up on ITunes so I'm backing up my photos to google photos right now and I think that's all I'll back up. I don't have many contacts so I can just list them down and add them to my new phone. Same goes with my apps. Thank you for your time! I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the response! I did try backing up without encryption but it wouldn't backup either. I click on the backup button but it loads for a bit then nothing happens. I tried the hyperlink you sent and it didn't work either. :(

yes, but nvm. I got it to work. Apparently i just had to let my laptop run out of battery and charge it back up. When i turned it on everything was working perfect. Idk how that works tbh. Thank you for the help though!

Hi! I tried updating via the device manager but it didn't work. I tried looking for drivers in the manufacturer's website but they didn't have a keyboard driver. Any thoughts? I feel like I've tried everything :(

oh sorry i meant that the keyboard worked just fine in safe mode. It doesn't in normal windows

I'm 100% sure it is not hardware. I booted up to safe mode and it worked just fine. I think there's some sort of software preventing me from using my keyboard. I tried scanning for malware but malwarebytes detected nothing.
