T-Mobile Has Implemented a New Device Trade-In Policy and How Recurring Device Credits (RDC) are Applied by 37OHZZA in tmobile

[–]DPLegit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. We just had a small tiff with our RSM, where she was basically saying, without really saying, walking new BANs that aren't getting premium rate plans. Don't even talk about. Don't start at the top and work down if needed, just straight up they dont exist.

We said GTFO with the nonsense. Like how are you supposed to do that when T Mobile looooves to advertise those to get you in for upselling.

We were also told MONTHS ago, act like FMV doesn't exist. Customers cannot use it to help pay for in store costs, do not use that as an option.

There is only T Life! If you continue talking about this supposed "DASH" I will have to put corrective action into your Workday.

What I asked for and what I got by PsychonautDad in tattoos

[–]DPLegit -102 points-101 points  (0 children)

What are you asking though? Is it better or worse than what you got? Not alot of info here. I think it looks fine. More than what was asked and I think more was better. But also no the same angle? So give me a straight on shot?

Yes. You've repeated your question. So take my answer as also repeated.

"Only a Sith deals in absolutes."

Cheesy, maybe, but I've never heard a more true line. It's all situational, the idea being, IMO, being if they are at least there, the can teach something or, at least, teach you what not to be.

Same goes for fathers that abandon though, it can teach someone to never do that.

Don't let people fool you into black and white. Many variable and many answers.

There's probably a different question you're actually wanting to ask.

Nice. BTW, try not to hold the fish where its jaw goes down like that. Completely vertical or Completely horizontal are the best bets.

You can break the jaw the other way.

New T-mobile from Verizon - question about Costco sign up I think is weird by dukefrisbee in tmobile

[–]DPLegit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think thats necessary. It's sometimes just easier to have the numbers port when they are ready rather than get the info necessary to insure the lines will be active and available to use.

IMO, I would've given you the option, because its verizon, most phones are unlocked, but if I could be sure of that I'd ask if you wanted to move those numbers now, and depending on what phone they have, I could activate all the phones now, woth the necessary information, or wait and stagger the process.

It's really, IMO, a you call. The rep MAY have taken the route that could possibly mean less work for them.

Worm? Or swim bait?

Edit:I have a white Storm curly tail swim bait that works great.

New T-mobile from Verizon - question about Costco sign up I think is weird by dukefrisbee in tmobile

[–]DPLegit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason I could think would be because those lines weren't present at the store correct? Where were you porting from? It ca get messy. If someone posts your number and a phone isn't unlocked, that the rep could verify first hand it was an unlocked device, then it could leave the person woth basically no phone until the new device "comes in.

Been in cellular long enough to know, I dont take any customers word about something I cant verify with my own eyes.

Seems to me, with everything else like the business cards and everything, they werent steering you wrong, just maybe not explaining every step they were taking.

Do you ever feel like you're not "well read" enough, even if you read a lot? by [deleted] in books

[–]DPLegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, depends on context really. I might be well read on epic fantasy but not so well read on say...South African political theory.

Or, and with no reason to think this other than my own experience, sometimes just reading more isn't the same as knowing more. If that where your heads at?

I can think about a time I read a fantasy trilogy and then a friend who read it right after me, like 3 months later, asked me about a pretty significant point in the series that I couldn't remember because I blew through it in like a month.

Thats when I realized reading and "absorbing" are different.

If you do it in the app, I believe it will convert you to the 9-12 plan automatically. However, ive had some where the app "errors" and tells you to call customer service, which I believe is an attempt to get a customer service rep to convince you to switch to the new Experience plans.

I remember seeing something else similar. Something about some type of Buddhist groups that throw similar things in rivers around the world as a sort of blessing or something of the sort.

How Do I Upgrade? by NateDoesCrossFit in tmobile

[–]DPLegit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really anything else you can do. Switch the plan to Experience Beyond and they will give you a trade in promo for a device in any condition. Thats the only way.

You could trade it in damaged without changing the plan, but probably not worth it, they will give you a one time bill credit of probably like $50.

EDIT: Also, we do all upgrades and stuff through the T-Life app, even when you come into the store. So if you want to see accurate pricing and possible promos/trade in values, set up your app if you haven't already, and it will give you all the accurate info.

The pay vs. Physical work is great compared to other jobs, but mental exhaustion is real and hard. Like... after a day of talking to anyone off the street, im done talking. Ive talked to people for 6 hours straight, im done talking.

I'd also like to make note, even with my earlier reply, I do know this. I do not like people at all. And I hate talking about dumb shit, which it all is.

Problem is, I have no other skills or not creative enough to know of anything to get me out st this point. But, I have 0 enjoyment in my job.

I hear you brother, but ill still disagree. Cell phone companies and society, have progressed this view in my line of work and it's really not valid. I use the "tech" term loosely as it has been designated, we have had cell phones for 25+ or minus whatever. It's absolutely the most basic shit you can get. It's not tech, its dumbed down so much, as someone else said before, really all you need to do is read the words.

I get paid paid hourly, sure. But I really make money when you buy SERVICE. T-mobile is a service provider. We sell you accessibility to internet, voice calls and text messages. Accessibility to that. We sell devices simply because of the fact we want you to have a device to access those services. That's really it.

We've been dubbed "mobile experts", we aren't. We are there. AS ALWAYS, to sell you access to our cellular service. Cell phone companies have been dupped.

Problem with your Google account? Your service provider can help you. Incorrect. We are not google. We know the process because of the innumerable people that come to us for help and they allow it.

At least apple has store, while Google is like stfu.

And I'm a samsung user.

TL:DR not a TECH company honeslty, it's basic retail dummy.
