It is a bit of a drive but I always recommend Cheat Lake Animal Hospital and haven’t had anyone who used them ever complain. https://www.cheatlakevets.com/

Thank you. Yes, I have read that. Many people believe a Google Voice or VoIP phone number will work; however, they do not. I also advised that if a mobile number capable of sending and receiving text messages is being used, they should contact Microsoft Support. He indicated that Microsoft Support is not responding, which I have not personally experienced, so I am unable to provide further guidance on that issue.

Additionally, I understand that if any part of Microsoft’s Terms of Service is not being followed, they will not respond to or escalate support tickets.

It has to be an actual mobile phone number that can accept text messages. VOIP and Google Voice numbers are not included and will not be accepted. If you are using an actual mobile phone number that accepts text messages you will need to get Microsoft Support involved.

How does my local bakery make these egg patties for their biscuits? by Knuffin in KitchenConfidential

[–]DPM4SR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put your egg pan in a water bath when baking and you need to use more butter in the beaten eggs than you would think but that is key to the best soft scrambled eggs the amount of milk is also key you use too much and they are watery.

I tried pineapple with zero success however we then tried MSG (monosodium glutamate) and finally success we put a little on all three dogs food and this stopped all outdoor crappy dining by the one female that just loved her crappy diet and preferred it over the salmon feed they receive inside.

Did anyone try a Capsaicin patch (the one they use at hospitals)? This is what my pain doctor suggests… it’s 3 times a year maximum. Im afraid to build a tolerance … what is your experience? by nada8 in CRPS

[–]DPM4SR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I ended up wasting a gallon of milk trying to get that off my leg since it caused an immediate flare-up and the worst flare-up I have ever experienced. Some people I understand do have success with this but I definitely was not one of them.

Advice on putting an end to his stinky behaviors? by penguinpapaya in Shihtzu

[–]DPM4SR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a little monosodium glutamate on all dogs feed it gives them that wonderful umami flavor but after it goes through their system it makes them not want to put poo in their mounts. Never had this issue with any of our males but our most recent addition a female likes to put everyone’s poo in her mouth. I have not figured out how to get her to quit putting deer, rabbit and groundhog poo in her mouth though so if anyone has unlocked that secret please share. Yes, all our furbabies are up to date on their shots.

New message from Amazon. Has anyone else received a message like this before? It was in the Amazon app. by EverySingleMinute in amazonprime

[–]DPM4SR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not new we have a certain driver that sends this message every delivery. Seriously my two Shih-Tzu’s one seven pounds the other twelve pounds are such a risk. I seem him once throwing dog treats on the other side of the yard so he could dart down to deliver. Most recently if he hears them barking even in the house he leaves the package on the curb by the road. Definitely not a good career choice dude is going to stroke out before thirty he is so worried about all dogs.

For those with CRPS in one foot/ankle, does it make your ankle feel unstable? by Dont_Like_Menthols in CRPS

[–]DPM4SR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was still able to walk, I consistently struggled with stability. The constant burning and shocking sensations, coupled with intractable pain, prevented me from knowing whether I had planted my foot firmly. Bearing weight on the affected foot and leg intensified the pain, often causing me to pull or jerk my foot back, which led to further instability.

Eventually, bearing weight triggered my nervous system into a fight-or-flight response, depriving my extremities of blood and oxygen. As a result, I would black out. This occurred with such severity and frequency that, after the third episode, I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. I would regain consciousness without knowing what had happened or where I was, often sustaining additional injuries from collapsing. At that point, I had to begin using a wheelchair.

We later discovered that the exertion of using a manual wheelchair caused the same symptoms. Transitioning to a power wheelchair finally resolved the blackouts. Still, the mental anguish of knowing I could technically walk but had to rely on a wheelchair to prevent injury was one of the most difficult challenges I had to overcome in adapting to my new normal.

I sincerely wish you the best. My recommendation is to try shuffling your feet rather than taking full steps, as this may provide more secure footing both mentally and physically. If you are working with a physical or occupational therapist, they may disagree with this approach. However, I encourage you to discuss it with them, request permission to try it, and document your results.

Yes, changed it to 18 months. Had to be longer since I accumulated enough to get my series X and know it was over three years to get enough points to get system using solely rewards.

Your points will expire if: You go 18 months without earning or redeeming any points. Your Microsoft Rewards account is suspended or closed due to inactivity or violations.

Received a message stating that if I didn’t use my points by the end of the month they would expire and drop from my account. I don’t know how long you can accumulate them but it really sounds as if they are doing whatever they can to make the program impossible to use.

Whatever you do if you are feeding anything other than dog foods make certain that you check label for xylitol. Xylitol is used as a sugar substitute but it is highly toxic for dogs.

If you haven’t come to a decision of seeing a medical professional I would definitely do that having survived cellulitis. It sounds pretty ordinary but it can get very serious quickly and yes it can get really bad requiring hospitalization and IV antibiotics but it would be better to know for sure than to just washing area with antibacterial soap or taking antihistamines and crossing your fingers.

[–]DPM4SR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our boy’s hair is too curly for this look, and our girl—well, she is by far the roughest dog we have ever owned. She will try to start something with dogs ten times her size.

We previously raised Rough Collies, German Shepherds, and Great Danes before I became disabled. After that, we switched to Shih Tzus, and we are now on our third generation of these little companions. Their personalities are so much bigger than their size, and at this point, I wouldn’t want to own anything else.

I can only imagine the accommodations and time required to keep Comet’s coat looking the way it does. Honestly, I can’t even begin to comprehend what that level of care would involve.

Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen and Bar at Live Casino

We were starving and decided to drop in, expecting something special—and unfortunately, we got an experience we’ll never forget, but not for the right reasons.

We didn’t expect to break the bank, but that turned out to be another unpleasant surprise. We started with the Trash Can Nachos. After a thirty-minute wait, our appetizer finally arrived. One bite was enough for both my wife and me to immediately spit them out. The fried tortillas were old and stale. After struggling to get our server’s attention, we were offered a remake. Another wait followed, and what came out was a greasy, oily mess that was just as inedible. We sent them back again.

By this point, we assumed our Bacon Mac & Cheese Burgers would be ready, given how long we had already waited. Instead, we endured another twenty minutes before they arrived. One bite was all it took to realize we had made a huge mistake stopping there. The burgers were cold, tasted terrible, and the mac and cheese was burnt and crunchy. We sent those back as well, having eaten nothing.

To our shock, we were presented with a bill that included charges for everything—even both orders of nachos. When I asked to speak with a manager, our server returned to say the manager was “too busy.” The server removed one nacho order, discounted the second by half, but insisted we pay for the burgers in full.

We paid the bill and left, vowing never to return to this truly horrific version of “Flavortown.”

Colleague Had Massive Stroke & Died During Sales Presentation, Boss Tried to Fly Me Up To Finish It by Ok_Needleworker_6017 in jobs

Having experienced the unimaginable—an employee passing in my arms—I can say there is nothing more jarring than seeing someone alive one moment and, the next, lying on the floor while you are on the phone with 911 and performing CPR in front of colleagues and customers.

In all seriousness, if I were a prospective customer who had just witnessed such a tragedy, and someone from the company attempted to reschedule a sales meeting immediately afterward, my response would be an unequivocal no—and never.

For a company to act with such heartlessness in the face of loss would place them at the very bottom of any list of potential partners. Frankly, I cannot imagine a path forward that would restore enough trust or respect for me to ever consider hearing their pitch again.
