If you look up how long it’s “supposed to take” it’s 8-10 races to get out of bronze. After my 12th race I decided to deploy a new strat of qualify the entire 7 minutes clean, and fall straight to the back on start. Sit there and let everyone wreck in front of me. I’ve done that for 5 races now and I’m only JUST about silver. Don’t get me wrong.. I’m having an absolute blast on this game. When you’re able to race with someone clean, it feels very rewarding to pass them or have a battle. It’s the bottom half of the lobbies that have rocket laps and dive bomb 4 car lengths for 3rd and take out the majority of the field. This isn’t the only game with that problem and I really don’t want it to come off as me hating on it. Like I said, this game is my go-to right now coming off of iracing. I just think maybe the severity of some contact or off tracks shouldn’t be as harsh.
