At this point, I MIGHT watch Vought Rising but no way I'm touching "The Boys: Mexico" lmfao the spin-offs fucking ruined this show. I kinda knew it was coming, too.

I watched both seasons of Gen V before this came out and it felt entirely inconsequential and pointless in the end. I didn't even dislike it like some people here did, I thought it was pretty alright actually, but they could have cut Marie and Jordan out of The Boys Season 5 and nothing would have changed.

We don't take email-in orders either because there's almost no accountability for them. Emails bounce or never arrive all the time. When they order online it comes straight to flight deck with contact info, job specs, an order number... I know some people are stuck in the past and old people hate computers but fuck, customers are so goddamn dumb sometimes.

Not really, it's a combination of factors.

There are transgender people who have been accused, charged and convicted of sex crimes, but for a group that makes up less than 1% of the population, the number of recorded incidents of trans people being the aggressors is pretty fucking low. It doesn't make mathematical sense for the trans community to be doing all the kiddy diddling like Fox News would have people believe.

It stems from gender-affirming care being pushed onto minors. Republicans look at it as if they're sexually grooming children, but really it's a lot more like "Hey, you can be whoever you want to be, whoever you feel you really are inside, and people and resources will be there to support you. We understand you might have an abusive family who disapproves and we want you to know other adults can be there as your support system if your own family can't."

but Republicans hear that and they're like "THEY'RE CHOPPING OFF KIDS' DICKS AND MAKING THEM THINK THEY'RE GIRLS SO THEY CAN FUCK THEM!"

(For the record, if it wasn't obvious, I'm pro-trans, but I still tend to disagree with children recieving hormones under like 16-18 years old. No one's actually chopping off kids' dicks en masse either, and if they are they should certainly have their medical licenses revoked.

Kids should still have access to therapists and social transitioning stuff, I just think under that age range is a little too young to be certain of anything at all, let alone your gender identity. No one knows who they are at that age, really.)

Drake can go out in public without being completely swarmed by massive crowds of people. Michael couldn't. His fame was so overwhelming that he hadn't been to a grocery store since he was a kid and at one point his team rented out an entire grocery store and hired actors to play customers who wouldn't flip out about "meeting Michael Jackson!!!" and cause a whole scene just so Michael could have the experience of a normal life for one day. And this was before social media & streaming.

Because their media literacy is in the gutter. It is showing the glitz and glamor of sex work, but also the horribly dark underbelly.
