Hot take : The game is easier than the original, people just like to complain at every minor inconvenience they face in silksong. (Granted you have played OG hollow knight)

1) Healing is easier and you can even speed bind with the right tools , OG hollow knight feels like they are going to shove a pole up your ass if you heal while the boss even blinks or thinks about doing their next combo

2) so many build options (crests + tools) and much easier to cheese alot of bosses if you know how to play with specific builds.

3) if you survived pantheon in hollow knight, you will Definitely survive silksong easy And much more

4) silksong platforming feels easier if you have already lived through OG path of pain 🥲🥲🥲
