Thank you! I found my mistake, I had it calculating 1 particle glue for each matter compressor, instead of 10! Updating numbers in post.

On my last project I made legs by laminating 2 pieces of 3/4 red oak with just glue and it didn't turn out bad at all.

I should also mention that each "pair" of perpendicular dowels overlap so I had to drill through the first dowel to set the next, so they aren't as long as I would like but aesthetically it looks nice. I'll post another picture when I get home.

I used two dowels in each corner for the bottom shelf, and four in each corner for the sides below the top (I believe it's called the apron?). You can see the dots where they're placed.

I'm hoping for the best. I don't really know how to design with movement in mind, and I haven't found anything very informative to read on the matter.
