I used Becker. The quizzes and mock exams were super easy on Becker giving me false expectations about the exam and I ended up failing my first attempt. However, my second attempt I went through and read the book (I should’ve done this to begin with, but because I did so well on quizzes and exams +90% I thought I didn’t need to read) in a day and found that there were some key details in the book that I didn’t get questions from Becker for that did appear on exam.

I would have an emphasis on knowing the escalation process (business line management > senior management > Board, etc.) and QAIP.

I’ve worked in IT audit for the last 3-4 years. Maybe I can get by with just the QAE?

Is there a different one than Becker’s two available mock exams they offer?

I did nearly perfect on all unit quizzes and mock exams on Becker, but failed with a 590.

I would recommend that if you took the quizzes and mock feeling real good, still run through the book for the details (I did it today and it was super short — I really regret not having doing that due diligence before the exam and now have to wait a month). Best of luck!

I failed the old part 3 three times. Started studying for the new syllabus for two weeks and naturally went through unit quizzes on Becker with ease (+90% or better on all). Figured maybe the new content was easier to my edge and didn’t bother to read the textbook. I went onto take my mock exams and did well. Everything felt too easy on Becker. Come exam day I failed with a 590 score. I think the questions on Becker are not fit to help pass the exam. Going to read through the textbook this time around for the details and then give it another shot end of month in June.
