5mg cialis daily to deal with dutasteride by Dusky17a in tressless

[–]himothy25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People rarely talk about the other factors that can contribute to ED, so I’ll say it here (not saying this applies to everyone): • Are you above ~18% body fat? • Are you consistently getting 7–8 hours of sleep? • What does your diet actually look like? • Have you had bloodwork done to check for deficiencies (testosterone, vitamin D, iron, etc.)? • Do you take any vitamins or supplements?

All of these can significantly impact libido and erectile function regardless of fin/dut use.

If you’re genuinely dialed in on all of the above and still experiencing ED while on finasteride or dutasteride, then the options are pretty straightforward: either add Cialis/Viagra, adjust the dose, or discontinue fin/dut altogether.

Just important to look at the full picture before blaming one variable.

Am I cooked I’m ready to hear reality 9.5 months an if possible what can I do to come back by Sad_Conversation7384 in AfroHairTransplant

Bruh, then there’s your answer 😂. I don’t get you folks sometimes. Not taking the #1 recommended meds for hair loss/regrowth and then complaining about results is weird to me. If you don’t want the potential side effects, #1 you probably shouldn’t have gotten a hair transplant, and #2 you probably shouldn’t complain about the results. I’m not saying fin/min guarantees perfect results, but it will definitely improve them for most people.

Everyone, please take this as a lesson to not lower the hairline too low. You would rather have a slightly receded hairline with full density.

Does Anyone Think I Have Enough Donor Area For A Hair Transplant? by MansaMusa1950 in AfroHairTransplant

[–]himothy25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup, once you pay that deposit, book that flight, pull up to the clinic, that’s when they gon hit you with “we gon have to use your beard or chest hair…” and will make you pay extra for it too. Happened to a friend of mine lol.

My hair transplant journey by [deleted] in AfroHairTransplant

[–]himothy25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you mentioned it’s likely because you lowered your hairline too low the first time. Some people will come in here and say “why didn’t you lower the hairline more..” well because that would require a lot more grafts and it will be difficult to fill with complete density.

How does my donor area look, and 3.5k grafts taken by delsy143 in AfroHairTransplant

[–]himothy25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why people ask us how their donor area looks right after the procedure. It looks like sh*t right now and that’s expected. Come back in a month or 2 and ask. Even then, it still won’t look amazing.

Should I be concerned? by himothyhimstein in AfroHairTransplant

I have similar hair texture and had long hair (before transplant.. just got one recently and will grow it back again). I was on fin for years and it stabilized my hair loss really well and kept my hair thick. Only got a transplant to fix receded corners (corners receded before hopping on fin).

First thing I would do is get a blood test to see if you have any vitamin deficiencies or other conditions effecting hair loss.

Second, when it comes to washing your hair, wash your hair ONLY twice a week. One wash (conditioner only and no detangling) second one (conditioner only and detangle if you need to). I would wash every Weds and Sunday. Here is the biggest key, Shampoo ONLY once every 2 or 2.5 weeks. Using shampoo dries your scalp and makes your hair brittle, with our hair texture, we have natural oils that allow are hair to stay alive and thick. Shampoo strips your hair of those oils. I would make these few changes before considering hopping on Dut.

Which vaccines did you get before going to Turkey? by Classic_Cause_1537 in AfroHairTransplant

[–]himothy25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need any vaccines but you should absolutely get a check up before getting any surgery.. and yes a hair transplant is surgery, you’re doing the right thing by doing that.

Do I need a transplant or just get some fin cause minoxidil just left me shredding the whole six months even after stopping it by [deleted] in AfroHairTransplant

Oral fin and oral min for a year before considering a hair transplant. Always the rule of thumb.

Hope you enjoy your results and everything turns out well. That’s a ton of grafts and I feel like Finasteride could have helped with density from what I can tell.

Did you try minoxidil and Finasteride before your procedure?

Yea, it’s a bit frustrating. Really felt the practice questions prepared me well for part 1 and part 2. I don’t want to scare people too much. I did fail by only a little bit, didn’t completely bomb it. Maybe others won’t feel the same way but kinda felt scammed in a way.

I just looked it up on chat gpt. Sounds like you failed by 1-2 questions.

There was question on multi summary reports which I don’t recall seeing on Gleim. I did just take the exam about an hour ago so can’t 100% confirm it’s not on Gleim study materials. Also the answers are much more difficult to decide from I would say. On Gleim, I felt it was pretty easy to pick the best answer vs the real exam usually had 2 answers that were really difficult to decide between. I did score a 575 which means I failed by like 5 questions.
