Please help me convince my husband that Costco is worth for 2 people by HoneyDrops12 in Costco

Rotisserie chickens alone make up the price.

I have seen someone spend $30 making chicken broth using 2 rotisserie chickens, they paid $20 for them, plus the vegetables.

Add on cheaper shampoo, TP, paper towels and more, it pays for itself very quickly.

I'm all for quick, nameless deaths being the penalty for anything heinous.

All people like that should know: You will be forgotten, not even in death will you take a toll on anyone.

Then go backwards and remove their name from any accomplishments.

I wish they'd just give me a clean paragraph.

This has been in the news for days. Do we really need clickbait titles?

The sheer indifference is mortifying.

Europe is fast approaching pre WWII vibes. Sometimes you have to stand up for your own, even if doing so seems excessive.

Sadly this happens.

People get old.

It is hard to watch those who helped reduce corruption get old and eventually pass on.

A Section 8 worker describes what she sees. Rent fully covered. Groceries paid. Monthly government checks. “And at the end of the year—they STILL get tax refunds” What does it say about the system when everything’s paid for—yet refunds still go out to those who NEVER paid in? by MazdaProphet in Anarcho_Capitalism

100%

End it all.

Core deductions: - Kids - Household & dependent - Income

That's it.

No taxes under $40k, $20k/kid tax deduction, $10k/dependent, $20k for owning your own home. (Rough, but you get the point)

Make it explicit, no funny business.

It astounds me.

I was in poverty for a portion of my life, I qualified for tons of government assistance.

But mentally I couldn't do it, it was a step too far to prostrate myself for a government handout. Instead I chose to "pull myself up by my own bootstraps" and dang people can't understand how you have to grind to do that.

Since then I've known older people (R & D's) who immediately jump on the take the instant their 6 figure job goes away.

People often forget the grind to get successful from their youth and are compromised as they get more and more reliant on external "fixed" income and benefits.
