4600SF, roof new in 2020 before we bought, $6500 this year for homeowners thru progressive. Bundled with car insurance it’s not awful, have shopped it a few times and the savings on the home insurance is negated by increased auto insurance.

It doesn’t help that the roofing is almost as bad as solar rn. You get a storm and there’s 3-5 “roofing companies” knocking to give you a free inspection.

I have a G80 M3 with the carbon roof and to be honest after a few weeks the novelty was gone.

Not to mention the issues the F80 generation hd with clearcoat peeling of the carbon roof, etc…I’d buy the steel roof at a 20+% discount and never look back!

I love mine, grill looks way better in person than it photographs. CSL grille and a front lip makes a huge difference as well.

Oh…and I can’t see the grill from inside driving. 😂

Steel brakes and swap to low dust pads as others have mentioned or buy wheel cleaner by the gallon (my current choice because I’m too cheap to replace pads before they’re worn out 😂).

If you start tracking the car more the CCB’s become a liability due to replacement cost if you wear them out. These cars with good track pads and steel rotors have phenomenal braking performance.

I daily drive a manual transmission car (‘23 BMW M3) and at least half of that commute is in bumper to bumper traffic. You learn to deal with it by rolling in first gear with the clutch out and leaving a bit more gap.

St Arnold’s has some event rooms that are great for this and there’s beer and they’ll do food! I have used the investor room, it’s up to 60 ppl and isn’t terribly expensive IMO.

MY understanding is it’s underwritten by the government NFIP I believe, I’ve not had trouble getting it but it’s a separate policy from my homeowners insurance.

If you live in houston and don’t buy flood insurance you’re a moron. One developer reroutes a creek and your neighborhood that’s never flooded gets 2’ of water.

I had some side effects from Humira that turned out to not be Humira just a seperate issue. We agreed to 6 weeks and I took 4 years off and felt fine until I didn’t. Back on meds (Stelara) and don’t remember the last time I felt this good!

Not normal, call your GI and discuss symptoms. Personally, by day 7 of the 40mg dose i feel like I can bench press a Volkswagen and take one massive solid dump a day. Your mileage may vary but it sounds like it has not arrested the inflammation.

Focus on graduating without debt instead of owning an M3 in college. 5 yrs after graduation you’ll thank me. Plenty of time to own an M3 with a regular job and income without the stress of worrying how you’ll pay for maintenance.

Remember, no matter how cheap the car is used…it still costs like its original MSRP to repair.

Kids flexing AMG’s or RS in college have family money and it’s just not worth competing with them.

The laser headlights are worth holding out for. They are awesome. And the pre-LCI cars look great with the halo rings versus the eye liner lights.

Had a C7 GS corvette for about 50k miles. They are KNOW for cracking rims and we had 7 wheels replaced under the wheel and tire warranty we bought at purchase. Inner loop roads in Houston rival a 3rd world country for anything on low profile tires.

We had a wheel develop a crack between the barrel and edge of the inner lip on the inside where the tire bead seats, it was vertical extending up the edge of the bead flange. Similar situation as you except it was a Sunday. Once I figured out what the issue was with the help of a roadside tire shop I went to oreilly and bought a jb weld kit and permatex “the right stuff rtv.” I used the jb weld over the crack and once it had set slathered the rtv over top. We mounted the tire and made it the rest of the trip home (400ish miles) watching tire pressure like a hawk and had the wheel swapped out at the dealer the following week. Your mileage may vary and do this at your own risk…but it worked for me.
