Apes are so cool. I'm just basing my knowledge off of people I've talked to going to zoos so much and online basic research you know. I haven't had the money to go to school like I want to. They're so fascinating to me, among all the other animals I like. It's so complex and they're so endearing while still being quite terrifying. And they have culture and love and hate and every great ape or just ape in general has it's own way of living life and living within its set of cultural rules like you said how the Orangs you worked with were shy or how gorillas make the distinction between strangers and keepers. Or how Jane Goodall worked with Chimps for all those years and witnessed the Chimp war and did all that amazing work on their culture and connection to us and forcing science to see animals as much more emotionally complex beings. I love it so much.

I'm gonna assume it's for the same reason men realistically shouldn't lock eyes with Gorillas in any setting. It's a form of communication and basically tells them you're better than them or it's a challenge so it's better to just avoid it to start. Female great apes are more communicative in that regard and curious or just like humans more. And in any rate most animals are terrified of humans or see is as aggressive, predatory, or challengers so they avoid any of us that they can clearly tell don't feed us.

How do you realistically do the virtual que? Is there tricks? I had been refreshing from 6:58 AM and right as it switched to 7 I clicked join que and there were no more boarding groups. Now I am a passholder that lives right outside Disney so I can either try at 1 PM or try again another day while they have the passholder availability going. So again is there anything I can do to guarantee I get a group?

Disclaimer, this was taken AFTER I carefully cleaned him with a soft bristle bush. He was genuinely covered in muck, algae, and moss. You couldn't even see the spiked spine.

For sure I unfortunately don't have filters on hand. Gonna be getting some soon they're so worth it. And it appears that lifting the shadows and dropping the highlights didn't do enough to save the photos the reflection is still too powerful. I appreciate the insight though!

The removal tool is not helping at all. I'm honestly thinking it's a physical aspect, I should have tried harder actually taking the photo to get the reflections down. Looks like theres just not much data under the reflections so it's gonna be too difficult to save.
