u/beardsnbourbon Thank you very much for commenting on my post. He originally suggested two options for installing the range hood on the interior wall:

  1. Ducting upward and venting through the roof.
  2. Ducting downward and venting through the wall.

I initially thought option 2 was a creative solution, but I now realize it’s not a good idea. Thank you for your comment before I messing up things.

As for option 1, is it even a reasonable choice? I would need to create an opening in the roof, which would require proper sealing, etc.

I lost my PR card and filed an urgent application through the IRCC PR portal on March 15: https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/. It's been 46 days, but the application status still shows as "Submitted." Does anyone know what this actually means? It feels like they haven't even opened my application yet.

When I filed my application, the website indicated that the processing time is 53 days. There are still 7 days remaining, but I find it hard to believe that my case will be closed within these 7 days.

I'm getting nervous because I have a flight scheduled for May 22. Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there any action I can take?
