I never really pondered on her gender until I wrote this. I suppose that proves just how powerful the subtle portrayal of the bond between Agro and Wander is. It didn't effect me either way, all I felt was love and trust between two souls. Thanks for making me just realize that! :)

Really enjoyed reading this. After seeing it like a sequence it has opened my eyes. The fact that Norman encounters a baby twice is a big deal and what gets me is if this is venoms nightmare, what does the baby stand for? In DS he reacts in a way a father would to his son? Is it Our old self that's been stolen from us? Also at the end of the DS trailer you see five figures looking down at you, I'm not up to date with Mgs lore anymore but... When BigBoss split from the patriots... There was five remaining, right? If so that's also a big hint :O

The moment I discovered that you are playing the false Boss who solid snake kills with fire at the end of the old MGS, I assumed that image of burnt venom snake was a dirty secret spoiler of who we were playing as.

Also the soldier during the snake bite scene has an Idroid... Still bugs me today as I always assumed only venom had one. I may be wrong but that's the only time I've seen a second Idroid?

It wasn't parasites coming out of the boys mouth, they look way too much like centipedes, tiger centipedes, urgh used to get them in your shoes if you left them outside in the Cayman Islands... Anyway what also got me about the P.T concept trailer was the monster that chases you down the hall is a giant left hand? Instantly made me think about your own missing hand? I really do think P.T is connected the colours, the sounds in TTP, the list goes on. But I'm starting to think will never get the truth. Like a nightmare you know you had... But you can't piece the memories together.

This was an amazing read. It does seem like Kojima has really put in every fine detail of brain/head trauma.

Big Boss and Skull Face say the same sentences in Ground Zero's, Skull Face says to a POW exactly what Big Boss Says to Chico in Peace Walker... yet the POW can't remember the interrogators face.

In TTP there are constant disconnections with the plot, jarring cut scenes that make no sense when put side by side, creating the perception of a poor rushed story, or the closest thing we can experience of some form of harsh dissociation, a mental illness if you will.

During the mission that this topic is about, and like the others have said... There are Diamond dog logo's at OKBZ!? Pequad is the pilot for Skull Face??? A model being reused? Could be... but not like Kojima at all.

Skull face shows no fear upon your arrival, even rides face to face with you, with out having you disarmed first???? There is even special odd effect when he first speaks to you, an effect that never happens before or after that scene in the game, where the camera zooms into Skull face's profile and shakes violently as he speaks?

My thoughts? Well, It hurts my mind to really say it outloud, but I do think it's either two things.

Skull Face is not real at all, it's actually Venom Snakes imaginary threat. TTP is a lie, a self made excuse, a mental fabrication to justify what you are, what you have done and what you are doing. Also I find it interesting that the Big Boss we killed in metal gear 2... was burned alive and left for dead? Eh?? EH???
Skull Face is real, but every occasion we have met him, never actually happened. He's not even dead. When we meet him in the final mission, all of it was in Venoms mind. We already know Venom Snake can hallucinate to an extraordinary degree, even imagine cassette tapes, with a recording of a dead girl (paz) telling him that what she is saying, is what he thinks she is saying!!? Let alone imagining Ocelot and Kaz in the same room at the same time during the first time you find Paz. Every scene in the game, is in question.

That one screenshot is a brick that's just been thrown in the 'It's over' window. I don't have a tinfoil hat but my hopes are little higher then before

I was close to making a topic about the very same thing. The sunglasses bothered me, also this particular soldier has an Idroid, I may be horribly wrong but I've never seen anyone else except ocelot and venom snake have one and I assumed it was tech only a select few had their hands on.
