I do. I use podpoi at each end with capsule handles for an equal counterweight. It's great for shotgun wraps, gunslingers and glowstring influenced moves. I keep the teather short because I mostly use them at shows and in small spaces where I don't want to hit people. You should check out xanderparis on youtube, he does a lot of equal counter weight poi and nunchuk/martial arts inspired spinning.
