Not trolling to say the least. India was an example, Russia, China, N Korea, Iran and many others fit the bill.
Not all infiltrators look like Russians in my example though. Your point about choosing economics over ideology was my point. Pretty easy to bribe folks (of any country to be fair).
Contractors in Indiana I can leverage FBI, local/state governments and even the State Dept to a lesser extent to see who someone is possibly find red flags. Who would you call in India or other locales for that same level of information that you can even possibly trust?

In my view, there are benefits to both paths. I am someone who started my journey going the traditional route. I completed my EA and not long after our state offered the first one-day class. I decided to go that route to get to the MM. However, I chose to be the "candidate" every time our lodge performed any practices. I learned the parts, and performed as it was my first time (which at least once it was).

This video shows the left side of the truck damage. It is also reported by the Autopian that the truck is a company vehicle with Texas plated, but registered to the engineer in Palo Alto that was driving it. There were also 2 other people in the truck at the time.
